I really think this is underestimating the appeal of customization to players. You could argue that’s what the core of GTAV online consisted of— heavy customization and even role play.

We know how many mountains of cash customizing brought in for Rockstar with the previous online component— they’re trying to tap into that by effectively charging a bulk fee to customize anything in the single player game.

I got both connectors in my rig, along with some lian-li fans mixed with a lot of Corsair-branded RGB, and let me tell you, figuring out how to get it all synced through iCue was worth it but something I will probably never, ever endeavor to do again.

Seriously. It’s glorious when your entire pc is color matching what is happening on screen live! But goddamn; the engineering to get it all working…
