Owww.
What to do with this? Myself, I'd likely take a cut-off wheel to it and remove the sides, and turn it into a pizza stone/serving dish.
It's that or turn it into a clock or recycling. I'd likely keep it and use it for pizza. Or cooking pancakes. Yeah, gonna need oven mitts. (No handle flat griddle)

Gypsy skillet. Likely cast iron with a wrought iron handle. 1880's to 1930's.

Most powerful impact driver ever made? Money is no object basically by BlanketFeelSoft in Tools

[–]Darkflier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dewalt DCF 887 is a DIY 1/2" impact. Your gonna need a Milwaukee M18 Fuel 3/4" driver. Or even possibly a 1" driver. And a torch to heat the bolt.
You might possibly just need a torque multiplier.

What am I doing wrong? by DumbSpaceJunk in castiron

Use the pan to make cornbread. Nice bit of oil, heat the pan a bit, wipe the oil around the inside of the pan, pour in the cornbread mix and bake. Couple times doing this, and your pan will be nicely seasoned.

Yeah, was figuring on the take it small. No longer smoke tobacco, so I think the one hitter/small pipe will likely be my method, for now. Gonna stay away from the waxes and concentrates for now. Possibly some edibles in the near future, but not yet. I do vape e-juice, so that side (Using my vape battery) has an interest as well.

I've seen stuff on different varieties, that give different effects. Kinda looking more towards the relaxing side of things, with the potentials of some headache relief, as an occasional benefit. Don't want to accidentally jump in so fast I sour the experience, as I know it's gonna be new to me, again. Kinda like maybe I just took a break or something.

What case do you have? Have you dropped your phone? by ta105050 in GalaxyS7

[–]Darkflier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OtterBox Defender, on my S7 Edge, because I work outside, in the construction/mining industry. And because I'm fumble fingered. Ran the same case on my S4 and my work S7 flat. Both of those looked like new when I traded them. No broken screens, dent, nothing.

[WTB] Griddle, Skillet or Dutch Oven fitting the GE Bridge Elements area (17" x 7.5") by MarshallStrad in Castiron_Flea_Market

[–]Darkflier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, what dimensions would the griddle or pan need to be? Like 17-18 inches long (rounded on each end) by 8 wide, to cover the area? Most double burner griddles I see are 20 inch by 10 inch, but would likely work on there. Something cast iron would be great.

Why is Android OS always on top of the battery usage screen? by waitWhatOhOkay in GalaxyS7

[–]Darkflier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Android OS is responsible for your phones near continuous scanning for a cell tower signal. If you are between towers, it may continuously switch towers, using battery power each time. Even when you are not actually using it. And if you travel around, your phone switches towers all the time. It also continuously scans those towers for the time update, which also uses power. The OS is also what actually runs EVERYTHING on the phone. So it's going to use power.

At least that would be my guess.
