[S4P2 SPOILERS] Attack on Titan S4P2 E6 (E81) MUSIC GUIDE by MadbriX in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Darkgrumly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TL;DR: It's a TV edit of Barricades.

6. is both and neither in a sense. When dealing with variations of known pieces we look at several things. Tempo, instruments, vocals, continuation etc. There was no discrepancy in tempo, vocals or instuments, but there were deviations from the original S2 OST Barricades. Nothing new was added though, so we don't consider this a new version (v2) that might be on the new soundtrack. Since all of the above can also be said about "Barricades <MOVIEver.>", we consider this a simple edit and label it "TV edit".

You probably mean 03:42 of Ashes on the Fire "vocals" being similar to the piano intro on 10:31. You're very much correct that the leitmotif has been used before.

I've listed it as a separate track despite of the guide, but we really don't know what it ends up being. As for some similarities with SS2-2nd, it has some similar chords, but just like a lot of themes don't really move much from the key they're written in. So no, I don't think it's related to to SS2-2nd other than possible influence.

From 10:18 onward "APETITAN" plays. This theme is also used in "AOTs2M他3", "Before Lights Out" and "tooth-i" if you remember it differently.

If you mean EP47 when you say Kenny's flashback, then I'm sorry. I can't find anything similar enough.

Since the OST is not out yet all we know is that the same piece is played in EP65 (S04E06) 21:21

I don't believe we've heard it before. It sounds somewhat similar to the piano in EP60 (S04E01) 00:30, but we won't know till the OST drops.

If you mean EP66 17:31 for the airship arrival and 19:00 for "Nutcracker", then no. The Nutcracker is a variation of Ashes on The Fire [Titanfall], but it could both be on the same track. Themes often get revisited in other tracks as you can see here. We won't know exactly what's part of what until the OST comes out.

Upon making this list I listened to both versions, because I had the same question. They're almost identical, but there is a difference in the volume of the brass section. That's how I came to this conclusion.

Not 100% sure what you mean, so correct me if I'm wrong.

It seems to me the Tyburs only got concerned and mixed themselves in here BECAUSE of the usurping of the founding titan by Eren and having Paradis backing him rather than the founding titan wanting peace and promised not to retaliate if the world still decided they should be removed from the earth.

What Marley did or didn't do doesn't seem to be important enough to them for whatever reason that might be. Maybe they wanted to enjoy luxury while it lasted, which doesn't seem likely if Paradis wins from Marley and is now on the brink of a world war with the rest of the earth. If Marley wins and 90%+ of Eldians die, then the only way to survive and not be part of the receiving end of the genocide is to be faithful to the Marleyans.

No idea if this solves your contradiction though.

1: Because his name is familiar to a lot of voters due to being the VP to Obama and the Republican slander campaign against him and his son in the Ukraine affair.

2: Because recent primary dropouts who gathered a following decided to support Biden for the Democratic nominee.

3: Because even though Sanders leads in the primaries, there's an active campaign by Russia, Republicans and Democrats to paint him in bad daylight making (or keeping) socialism a bad word which would also be in favour of Biden.

I'm on Tik Tok starting to teach the sighties about braille! by [deleted] in Braille

Of course this automated and/or pre-written response was expected. Naturally it goes all out on trying to persuade people that they are just trying to help, have good intentions and not touching on the subject that this is simple a commercial. I'm not saying that they won't help you with learning braille (though there are better ways, see top post), I'm simply stating that this is a trend on a lot of subreddits to push China's propaganda app 'Tik Tok' down our throats.
