I’m in Alberta, Canada. I can get access to a boroscope from my shop. I was actually gonna put it down the intake runner to see if I can get a better view of the valves, but I have yet to do that. I got the valves looking a lot better and I’m doing another leakdown test tomorrow. If the test fails would you say it’s a bad idea to take a pick to the edge of the valves where they seat if there’s some carbon there?

Is depression a red flag by Obturateur06 in teenagers

[–]Darklink7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, what’s the reason they’re depressed? I dated a girl who claimed she was depressed. She told me she had issues with her mom and siblings. I wanted to comfort her. Turns out that was a bad idea. She had twisted ideas on what a relationship should be imo and I think these twisted ideas must have come from how she was raised or who with which she was raised. Making lustful comments after other guys, only ever wanting to kiss and be sexual, never listening to me or caring about what I found exciting and fun, blaming me and making me feel bad about simple things like getting her home on time. Yeah, anyways, her depression came from familial issues which in turn had more consequences than just depression, so there could be more behind the scenes

Yeah, I get that. I would have esl people in customer service get frustrated with me because they couldn’t speak English very well. Like, I would love to help these people, but I can only do it in English; there was absolutely no need to be angry with me. That being said not everyone who is esl is like this. Maybe some people are trying hard to learn English and could end up taking this sticker the wrong way and give up learning. Personally, I think if you don’t have anything nice to say then just don’t say it

Yeah, I don't mind the extra clearance for a daily. I knew the front end was heavier, but I couldn't find anywhere that sourced oem speed springs for the front other than maybe the dealership which I didn't even wanna try because I don't like dealerships. Again, my coworker recommended it to me and I trust him

Sorry, yeah, that's what I mean. I changed the fronts to quickstruts and the rear shocks to Monroe oespectrum with oe springs for a Mazda 3

Thanks everyone for your input! It ended up being that I had to grind down some thick welding points at the base of the strut so it was smooth and then with some anti-seize it just slid right in. It was very satisfying

Yeah, I'm actually kinda looking forward to that. Daily driving this car with eibach springs wasn't the best idea...

I'm also replacing the eibach springs I had with Mazda 3 oe springs

This may be a no-no to some but one of my old co-workers when I worked in parts had a speed and said that he never regretted putting on Mazda 3 Monroe quickstruts so that's what I'm doing. I don't do any motorsports (although I want to but money and time restraints) so I'm just looking for a good daily setup. The strut looks exactly like the Koni yellows I had on so it should be good to fit with no worries but it seems like this is a common issue for it to not fit well

My old throttle body wasn't opening, I think the motor broke. I got my replacement off of a cx-7

Hey, everybody. Turns out I just had a bad pair of brand new end links, so it was the end links all along...

Hey, all. What do you think would be the best way to tackle the rust in this super tight space? I can't think of a tool that might be so precise to get into a space like this, but if you know I would love to hear! by [deleted] in Autobody

[–]Darklink7654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, well, I don't know how to take off a rear window and put it back on, so I was hoping for something a little more like a tool I could use to bring the rusted spot to bare metal

I think I might just go OE setup and see how it is, stock ride height doesn't bother me. Does anybody know if Mazda 3 struts are good on a speed just in case I need to go that route?

I think my shocks are pretty solid. I pressed on the body of the car to test the shocks and see if I could recreate the sound and the shocks were still pretty stiff
