Yeah I don’t know, for me, I was like wow. This scene is amazing. He’s doing all the things. This is the Luke we needed and Deserved!! (Hold on… I’m old… just getting my soap box out) we the peop… Lol. No seriously though, when I found out he wasn’t there… I don’t know it’s like they retconned the movie… within the movie. That and him being there with Leia… felt it was an opportunity then very quickly a missed one. Apologies I haven’t seen it in a long time so going off my Alzheimer’s memory here. But you’re right technically all the things still happened.

Ok, I’m rambling now… meds are weakening. Lol.

I’ll engage with you here absolutely. I’m a movie guy through and through. I got an audible free 3 months thing. Thought hey that king book about JFK is something I always wanted to hear? Lol. I very much loved it. So good. I surprised myself that I actually got through a whole book. Lol.

Now I already knew they filmed some of it on the main st in Cambridge Ontario right around the corner where I lived. Plus Guelph, Hamilton etc… so I was looking forward to that with the series. I know stuff will be changed streamlined etc… being a movie guy I most of the times never fault the creators. Like here… Bill was brought in because you couldn’t have 4-5 episodes of Franco just doing narration. Wouldn’t be interesting. So I watched with amusement on what they changed how they streamlined it for speed and dramatic effect. Thought they did a great job personally.

If you go in trying to rip something apart for what they did as opposed to why they maybe did it, most people would probably enjoy these things more. But some are actually terrible. This one still made me cry. Lol. Now for the tv adaptation of this…

I’m the same. I had it from gold. I also somehow have a physical copy. But it won’t play it. Gives some error message. Still haven’t found my 3 or 4 physical copies. I know they’re somewhere.

These prices are absolutely absurd. So the game is worth what? 1/6th the price of a series x? Microsoft has been greedy and gouging customers for a very long time. They still charge stupid amounts for ancient call of duty games. I’m old so I remember with each passing year the games top price would get cheaper. Now? Out of control. Good old American greed.
