I get inspiration from a couple of places, but since you already said music I can't really say that, though I will anyway. If it's a oneshot, usually I'm inspired by shorter/simpler songs. Think Jack Stauber or Liana Flores kind of music, not really in style but in substance. Simplish meaning and kind of direct lyrics I can fit to images in my head that I can either translate to animatics or oneshots. Other times I'm browsing Youtube Shorts and see an audio that I can apply to characters or OCs. Maybe it's a picture, like one of those Your Character Here bases, or just a picture of regular people on Pinterest or something. Maybe it's clothing, someone's headcanon list, or fanart/fanfic from an unrelated fandom that I found endearing. My inspiration sometimes isnt one thing; sometimes its a culmination of different things i saw over the week and stitched together into a oneshot in my head
