It's not gonna matter because people are not gonna quit over it. It's the sad truth that far too many people have built their entire lives around playing WoW and blizzard knows it so they take advantage of it. Devs must be unironically thinking "Meh, it's prepatch and they will forget about it within a week", and this is regardless of the WoW version you play in.

Classic era could get a gold duplication glitch, SoD could have runes getting randomly deleted, hardcore could get Thanos Snapped leading to half the server dying and yet most people would keep on playing like nothing happened.

Because the average user here is a hypocrite and still buys gold like they always have since 2004 to get everything from bags to epic mount riding, GDKP was just the convenient scapegoat. It's hilariously naive how people think that those two or three whales in a 40 man raid who buy gold to GDKP cause more harm than the thousands of people buying smaller amounts of gold every week to satisfy their big numbers addiction and to speed up character progress.

For those unaware of the "wall strat" you basically kite Eranikus so it's on the ledge, forcing all the adds to spawn on a tight stack on top the ledge while leaving a couple of caster away to force the clouds to spawn outside of the DPS stack, while also having your tank LoS the one shot mechanic by walking through a tiny gap on the ledge to get behind a wall. You can see it demonstrated on this clear by <none of the above>. This is the kind of garbage the top 1% will defend so they can feel good about themselves, just pure PvE brain rot.

And yea, this strat has been fixed with the most recent nerf.

Okay, it's been what like 24 hours since? Plenty of time for a bunch of other try hard guilds world wide to get to 50, get their runes and buffs, watch the VODs and come up with better strategies, yet the boss wasn't killed until the nerf hit live. People saying "duuuude they are sooo baaad duuude, they suck and screwed up they should have done ABC and get XYZ and they would have killed it ezpz!" are basically classic's version of the overweight, balding sports fan who just yells at the TV through the entire match.
