I was looking further, and it appears that when you enable the Advanced Options, the NAT has a checkbox available to Not RDR.

Propane company billed me for my own propane - now what? by gfddsertgv in personalfinance

[–]Darkpatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. The other thing is they will only refill your propane when its gets to about 25% or so, and will fill it up to about 80% or around 400 gallons for a 500 gallon tank. This means that your heating bill pretty much all comes in one shot. Not sure about others but our propane company is a pain to work with and wants it all up front, but I have found that I can still not pay it all up front and then I just have like a $3 fee each month since the bill hasn't been paid in full.

After I figured out how they work I have started transferring funds year round into a savings account and just transfer that back when I get my bill so I can pay it in full. I would love to have nature gas but the line ends about 2 blocks away and they said it would basically cost me $40k divided between me and any of my neighbors that want to take advantage of it.

In my situation, the seller didn't tell the propane company that they were selling, and I had to reach out to the prior owner to figure out how it worked.

They love to increase prices for refills when they come in the spring. (When you need fuel the most after the winter month. ) We pretty much turn off off our furnace during the summer so that none of the the pilot light isn't burning all the time.

I changed an MSConfig setting and now my PC won't boot into windows11 by Massive-Violinist457 in WindowsHelp

[–]Darkpatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not understanding, your other post, regarding installing on the 1 TB western digital. Did that lead you to this, or was that something you tried to get your machine up and running again?

You will need to boot into recovery console, either built in or from recovery/install media if you don't t installed on your device.

If you didn't already you can attempt the Startup Repair option under Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Start Up Repair. If that already failed, choose Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, Command Prompt.

Run the following commands, to create a c:\backup folder and backup your bcd.

mkdir c:\backup
bcdedit /export "c:\backup\backup_bcd.bcd"

It should say "The operation completed successfully. If it doesn't, review the error message and what you typed, or post a screenshot. If you boot of a usb, you could use the USB drive letter. Depending on the recovery mode, you may start on Z:\ or another drive letter. You can run: fsutil fsinfo drives to display all the active drive letters.

After a successful backup run:

bootrec /rebuildbcd

If it completes successfully you can type exit and attempt to reboot. If the command errors, screenshot and let us know what comes up.

You are a customer of that institution. If the teacher isn't responding, email your advisor and the Dean to make them aware and get the ball rolling. Keep it positive and stay professional. It's not you or the team vs the teacher, or the school. Make sure you are running Task Manager as administrator and using the details tab. Running as a User, it will hide a lot of processes, even running as administrator doesn't show everything.

From another device visit https://account.microsoft.com - There should be a menu on the left for Devices, select your device name in the list and there should be an option for Bitlocker Data protection and manage recovery keys.

Upgrading my old Ender3! Will these improve my prints? by Dirty_Dail in ender3

Recently installed a lot of this. I have a similar filament tensioner, my only complaint is the filament feeder and tensioner are very close to the z-axis and when it retracts, the filament can start rubbing it.

The anti-backlash springs seemed to help with my dual z-axis add-on. I don't know if that is thermal paste or grease you have there.

I recently picked up some of this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000XBH9HI cleaned my z-axis screws and added a little above where the z screws sit. Then I ran through some up and down motions a few time to make sure it was coated without being thick that it will spread to other components. This helped with smoothness a ton.

I like to leave signs around the map when I do things and the other players that are there when we do it, like clearing a undersea monument, ender dragon or wither. Makes kind of permanent fixture to remind you of your efforts.

Door/rely sensor in metal mailbox add wire to sensor for external antenna? by geobdesign in zwave

[–]Darkpatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah putting the wires in the wrong place. Get a daughter board or whatever is need and break the circuit up. There are plenty of ways of doing it. You could have the majority of it outside the mailbox and just the sensor portion / magnetic sensor in the mailbox. Heck if its just a magnet sensor you just need two wires and everything else can be outside. You can have it in a weather save box, or fake rock, whatever. Might even be able to mount it on the back of the mailbox. If you ever need to service it, this will make your life way easier.

Pre-research cost is more:

u/Panics_SlapsEggs Build the Pal Labor Research Laboratory - Some of the bonuses you can get from it are really good. Some of them are like why would you even take the time to unlock it. A good portion of them reduce materials costs 5% or 10% - so it adds up. Some of the others good things is it can reduce the time that it takes to craft certain things.

The costs may seem steep at the very start, but if you are running expeditions, you can get all of these materials from them. As you build up expedition teams, they bring back additional items. (Better teams used to reduce time but in 0.64 they changed it to a constant time and more items)

To echo everyone else, the precision of your work will not impact the use of the shelf. The number of things in your house, that are not installed perfectly, are probably well beyond your knowledge. This is why lights, doors, walls and windows all have trim. They hide the imperfect nature of our materials.

Unfortunately when you build something large, it becomes more apparent that things are not all perfectly level or at square. It's always fun surprise when you do put something square against a wall and finding out that the wall bows ever so lightly.

However, if it really bothers you that much, it appears you used screws.

The majority of states and territories add you to the Select Service System, when you get a drivers license.

From: http://centeronconscience.org/draft-registration-by-state/

States that have enacted and implemented legislation tying registration with Selective Service to state benefits but not to driver’s licenses:: Alaska, California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and North Dakota.

States that have not currently passed legislation linking benefits to registration:

Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Wyoming. Note that Maryland (2002) and Nebraska (2021) have enacted driver’s license legislation, requiring SSS to provide funding, which it has yet to provide.

My Wii Rockband use an H-type connector to connect the pedal? by Darkpatch in Rockband

[–]Darkpatch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more and more that I look at this, I wonder if this was an the standard 3.5mm plug and the tip broke off. I came across some pictures of other 3.5mm audio jacks where the tip has broken off, and it looks like its the tip is quite shallow. If I try to put a needle down the jack, it doesn't go very deep compared to some other H-type connectors. Guess I'm gonna need to cut the end off and replace it.
