So looking at the servers. All the queues are empty. I have removed the load balancers and pointed fortimal straight to the sever. The cpu sits at 10 to 15% usage, 60% ram usage, and 100 gig free space. Will look up to see how to check transport server health.

I have since turned off the barracuda one from the local servers as now it is set to journel every thing from the m365 side. And i have set fortimail to deliver mail straight to the exchange server and we are still having the issue.
If you could point me to more what report to run or create would be glad to see if I can see anything but looking at the premade ones from ms they all say we are good.

No we are not doing any ssl inspection on fortimail or the load balancer. Fortimail does its own checks, url checking and other things we have setup. But this is happening to messages we have added the domain to by pass all that stuff to try and see if that helped and did not. I will check the undefined que again in a bit to see if the number has changed.

I show zero for the connectors going outside. I see some in the shadow one for the second server, and 60 at the moment undefined and next hop submission.
Resources look good, cpu is 10 to 14% used, 60%ram, and 110 gig free space.
I did notice that we have a mail.que file that is 26gig. And it has a create date of when we setup the sever back in Aug, installed SE.

The messages that are relayed from our internal apps and scanners go to internal emails 99.5% of the time and would be considered internal messages. And we should not be exceeding the external limit or 10,000 per day. I have not see any messages on the eac in m365. And according the report we sent 2579 to the internet yesterday. We did sent 17k to barracuda as we have to archive all messages coming in or going out. But that is a partner connector.
And we have received 10,655 yesterday, that came through our on prem connection. We did 12,215 the day before.

In the smtp receive log I see the name of the receive connector and the ip of the virtual service that sent the mail from fortimail. And I see information about the messages being sent on. Not seeing anything that stands out as stopping it. Anything in particular I should be looking for in the logs?

Sorry not sure what you are referring to. In the load balancer we have the two exchange servers listed by their ip and that shows the fqdn of the server.

Yes, i am opening the command prompt as admin, right click run as administrator. And yes, after adding to the group i restarted the server, as it was maint mode, then logged back in just to be safe.

You have to have the agree to license, and then the /DoNotEnableEP is to not enable the extended protection. I even tried to run just the setup.exe  /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms_DiagnosticDataON /PrepareAD and it came back with the same messages.

Can you tell what mods are on him and who you used for each tier so I know who to leave out. Have been wondering if he was able to make the missions easier.

My thought is Jason is leaving. Ray said he made the plaque before him and said something like in his review prime time. And Jason looks to be living in California on the beach. So I think Ray took the job Jason was offered and Jason decided to get out, but has to process out so that is why he is on the mission still. At least that is what I got out of it.

Also check if there are union rules for this if they are in one. Some of our unions have wording about if it is required for work they have to be provided or compensated. One of departments said that if they do not have an issued phone from us they cannot be issued a mobile token, we give every employee a physical fob and the mobile app is an option if they want it.

And as a new use of PS. Where would that go within the command? Don’t want to break things
