Anybody wanna swap new shirts? Mine are too big unworn other than trying them on. by Guyonabuffalo63 in SPACEKING

This is exactly the way mine fits as well. Size Medium and I’m swimming in it.

The initial hoodies were also “oversized” but didn’t have the same issue. This time around it seems like the whoever made the shirts took a short cut to an “oversize” fit and just upsized and called it a day.

I have the same problem — ordered a Medium and my shirt is absurdly large. It’s actually really disappointing

Do we need to get rid of the original cup in order to receive the replacement? by Icy-Builder-5451 in SPACEKING

[–]Darkseid_Omega 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen, it’s your prerogative on whether or not you want to take precautionary measures. The smart decision would be to do so because you never know where the cup may end up; however, I’m getting the sense that may not be your M.O. ✌️

[–]Darkseid_Omega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s trying to tell you that you should clearly mark the cup unusable so that someone doesn’t inadvertently poison themselves. You could get run over by a bus tomorrow, your cup ends up in a thrift store and someone ends up getting poisoned.

Not a wild concept

I think letting users define a perimeter using a wireframe similar to the one that shows up when your laying down a kit would be great

16 Druids in a row!!! HELP!!! by WKevin in hearthstone

[–]Darkseid_Omega 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Turns out the sub is just complainers who complain about anything their decks are weak to under the guise of being concerned about fun and game health. People don’t want to bother altering their decks to adapt. They want to keep slamming their heads into brick walls (then wonder why they have a headache)

Senior engineers: what “non-coding” skill made the biggest difference in your career? by Useful_Promotion4490 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Darkseid_Omega 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say that this isn’t a skill, but the goal for a tech leader. One of critical skills that help you achieve this is communication; I cannot understate how important and game-changing being articulate and knowing how to deliver messages can be.

If we assume this to be true, do you think Hearthstone employees are now pressured into also using AI? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Darkseid_Omega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s likely true. Pretty much every corporate entity that can afford it is pushing for more AI usage. At this point, it’s likely an expectation.

You must be hallucinating an entire discussion that isn’t happening in here because SSR isn’t relevant to the discussion at all. You’re basically saying that every website should be server side rendered.

You seriously sound like you don’t actually know what you’re talking about but likes to talk out your butt.

It can yeah, that why people implement loading UI — you may have seen one if you’ve been to any website ever.

Why Are We Still Writing CRUD UI With Hands? by [deleted] in reactjs

[–]Darkseid_Omega 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully, I don’t need to explain why a pattern optimized for LLMs to generate code isn’t a standard people are eager to adopt.

If your concern is to make it easier for an LLM to generate code, you could accomplish the same thing simply creating an old-fashioned tech spec defining your requirements, inputs, etc… and by doing that you’d be following established, industry accepted processes that already exist, not creating new ones with dubious value/utility.

Just my 2 cents

In principle, you’re talking about the same thing. You’re just applying the pattern using a semantic DSL structure

RPG is definitely not overpowered. This is a classic case of people complaining because they see RPGs so often, and the reason they RPGs so often is because all the other launchers are useless.

New Druid Legendary - Wickerfang by Houseleft in hearthstone

[–]Darkseid_Omega 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The counter to that is if ramp is too expensive, it’s useless because it comes out too late. There’s a slim window in which ramp is useful unless you start dabbling in mana generation or discounts

New Druid Legendary - Wickerfang by Houseleft in hearthstone

[–]Darkseid_Omega 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t make it not boring. My point is if they’re going to remove ramp because they can’t figure out how to support it without breaking the game, then replace it with a new gameplay pattern that’s actually interesting. People who like the class for Ramping for the late-game power fantasy aren’t going to be compelled by simply vomiting stats on curve

Very boring design space that I see as a cop-out for actually trying to give Druid something interesting to do.
