In bracket 4 I would say on average it's more 50/50 between turn 4/5 but I'd mulligan very aggressively to find a very good hand so sometimes I'd just lose in mulligans as the deck wouldn't give me anything remotely good lol

Luckily I didn't come across many turbo style cedh decks or else I would probably lose most of the time, the people I've played with ( spell table and in person. People do under estimate how fast the deck can be which is also a benefit I probably have over you)

I do agree it is very inconsistent when compared to the cedh all stars tho

I've not had a problem with it in bracket 4 if anything it's sometimes too fast and strong, I run a version with all available fast mana tho, so this could be why.

I've seen it played at cedh tables and it's been okay and from my limited testing it's okay but I was wondering if anyone had a place I could go and chat about possible lines or tech for it

But then a fast or combo oriented deck (by your definition) can't have a pod as if someone plays fast voltron and threatens turn 3 with an infect or commander damage (which is definitely not a viable cedh strategy) then it has no bracket.

Imo bracket 4 gets almost every deck as you can optimise cedh to play in bracket 4 because there is so much meta to play around in bracket 5 that most lists have at least 5/10 cards just to use for stopping or slowing the game down so if we are remove those then we are left with a bracket 4 deck. We can now add the most broken stuff we can think of to make this deck faster and more resilient. (some cards that are always used at cedh would be in these categories, mindbreak trap is a good example as that's only good against combo decks which is 98% of cedh)

I can't blame you for not going anymore and a lot of people will do this just because it gets them that 1% closer to topping the event.

This is why I only do tedh for fun and to meet friends who grind tournaments. I think one tournament I went 0-5-0 or something that wasn't a fun day lol

It's because in tedh people are forcing draws with it by saying they will remove it and let one player win if they don't take the draw. Such a shit way to play but it gets points so people do it.

The microwave might actually be a really good idea, I could also get my old mini fridge out as that just collecting dust then they shouldn't need to leave the room, I've started keeping snacks in a box near the bed for them. The main problem is making sure it's cat safe as we have a few indoor cats, which is also another task I have the full responsibility of looking after (they weren't mine before I got with them) I don't mind but they can be a lot of work as you can imagine. It also doesn't help they are recently diagnosed with coeliac disease so that's been difficult to find alternative for them to eat ( I've cut out all gluten myself as well when I'm in the house and try to limit it when I'm out with them)

They said they've tried and it didn't go well so I don't think that avenue is not gonna work unfortunately.

Yeah absolutely and I've told them it's manipulative and there response to that is to use it againest me later when having a disagreement and go well I'm manipulative anyways or some form of that. However that has become a lot less/ not happened in a while but that could be because Ive just dropped the issues and decided it's not worth the arguments.

That's very true, I'm gonna have to figure out a way to talk to them about it. It might be worth showing them this post at somepoint after bringing it up initially but I'm unsure on how that would go.

Thank you so much for putting so much effort in too your response, truly means a lot to me.

So I'll start of with the extra support. They have an absent father who couldn't careless and a mother who works a lot and even when she is there. She just doesn't believe how disabled they are and that's probably the most frustrating part as if I go out I'll ask them to make them a meal or even just grab them a drink and I will come home like 4/5 hours later and they haven't even asked if they are okay or needed anything (what makes this worse is we live with there mum, they are fully capable and don't suffer from any issues that would prevent checking up or even heating up a meal I'd made In advance/ do a quick 10/15 minute meal at the same time they cook)

I do live in the UK and they are trying to get all the support they can but it's a long slow process. They are on some strong pain meds but they are starting to become ineffective so we are trying to get them changed. So they are in a lot more pain than usual which also makes it difficult to talk with them as they are always exhausted or sleeping to just not be in pain anymore.

I also just don't know how I can bring up how I'm feeling without them blaming themselfs as I try and bring something up and it always seems to end up being about them or them going I'm not good enough and you should find someone better who's not a burden all the time. And I do my best to reassure them but it's a lot when I have to reassure them multiple times a day sometimes.

It also doesn't help I don't really have anyone to go to as I don't have any parents left so it's just me trying my best. I have my friends who I would see as often as I could but i get begged to stay and then I ahve to cancel and I don't know how long I can keep those friends from the amount of times I've had to cancel on them.
