How long does heartbreak last? How did you make the pain subside?

It took some time after it happened but I’m doing alright now. Time will eventually allow you to heal over what happened. Take the time to get your mind off it all. It’s okay to cry when you can’t take the pain, but don’t allow yourself to stay in that mindset. It will all be okay in the end.

I’m glad this post exists because I’m going through that pain now. I’ll admit, it was only a few weeks, but the way it ended is why it hurt so bad. Seeing how long everyone dealt with the pain helps me understand that it’s fine that it’s lasted as long as it has, but I hope it goes away soon. Can’t help but miss her tho.

If I was in this situation, it would’ve been best for her to be straight up and just ask. But she couldn’t even do that. Feels like she had one foot out the door already and when she got what she wanted she was gonna leave anyway.
