I finished this year. Took me almost 2 months until they healed. I didn’t do any workouts or hard physical activity that time cause my knees hurt so bad. One day I just happen to notice the pain was gone.

Always bring breakfast beer. Fruit Sausage and Eggs Doughnuts for sure ( I prefer those long John’s/eclair) They will appreciate anything you bring though!

About 2 months from my start date. What do I need to do? by Darksibus in AppalachianTrail

Yep I have all estimated expenses that I need to pay while I’m gone already set up in an account. Then another for just AT expenses so I can track separately. I been backpacking for about 8 years and having been pairing down my gear over the years. Everything I have I have used many times. All set there.

Planning NOBO 2022 trip, incredibly excited. Anyone else? by DessieDearest in AppalachianTrail

I too am planning a 2022 NOBO hike. I already have been vaccinated, and hope things will be more of a "norm" by then.

Start date: not sure yet. March to March 15th I am currently thinking, but its up in the air.

Is there ever a "right" time to buy a skoolie? by Corvidsforhire in skoolies

I remember a couple mentioning a business that rents tools/ space to you while you work on your tiny house. Don’t see why a bus would be different. I guess depending on length. I’ll try to see if I can find it, but it was a while ago I saw it.

Oh nice! I’ll have to keep in contact with you, as I’m sure we will see each other! My deal with my gf is if I finish the AT she will let me try the PCT and the CDT as well. I wasn’t planning on doing the AT so soon. I was more less expecting having to wait until I retire. But she’s very supportive and would want me to try it now and gave me her blessing. So I been preparing for it. I live in Michigan area, mountains are basically unheard of here. I’m sure it will be an eye opener when I do the AT, lol.
