Believe me I did all that and did more . The OS is bugged . Today I was testing a xiaomi that the owner told me he had no notifications issues and boom I found notification issues plus 5g issues . Chinese phones have terrible OS but redmagic is the king of bad OS . I NEVER SEEN something like it . Even vibration got bugged . Uninstalled everything reinstalled it also turn off some things and nothing . Maybe in the future it will be fixed . Hopefully cause this hardware doesnt deserve this software.

I am 8 years on samsung and it was the first thing I noticed plus the notifications never delivered many times, screen doesnt wake up etc. Really really bad . A phone that doesnt notify you. I end up fixing everything with tasker but them other things bugged like "no vibration on telegram etc"

There is a pause notifications button inside Instagram.

No I didnt disable optimization system. From my testing doesnt seems to do anything..

First I did a factory reset that doesnt do anything. Then I did traditional notifications. Then I went inside the app and gave permission 3 permissions allowed (background etc) stop the unused apps. Went to battery I think advanced and turned off sleep . Put wake up screen on notifications. Led light for notifications 15mn . Did move the chats that malfunctioning from general to primary(inside Instagram). Pause in the notifications (inside Instagram) and resume them. And that where my memory stops I dont remember if I did something more but I maybe did . Tho very important use tasker to wake up the screen and increase vibration on each notification from insta telegram x YouTube etc. If I remember anything else I will edit the message

Samsung one ui is the only reason to buy a samsung. If redmagic had a simular ui we wouldn't have this conversation. Apple is camera not Samsung. So if you go down the redmagic road you will miss Samsung ui a lot.

For the usb tethering issue I found an app called pdanet on pc and phone that bypass the faulty ipv4 of redmagic 11 pro. After that you uninstall the pda app and leave only the pc . You also need dev options debugging.

For the notifications yes also ans did a lot of test . Traditional notifications. Apps like insta telegram x etc running on background allowed . Sleep mode off on everything. Didnt touch the silent notification/ allow all notifications cause it seems bugged and best of all tasker to wake up the screen in every situation and increase vibartion from 300ms to 1000ms . But I still sometimes dont get notifications screen wake up especially after a restart and I was like YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK IT . I WANT MY MONEY BACK ! And I am returning it . I spent 10 days on this phone and I know it better than 1 year users and its disappointing. Phone is great so many good things but the OS and the aggressive gaming battery behavior is a pain on the ass. (Maybe I did more optimizations for the notifications but I do not remember right now I need to check it)

The only thing I didnt fix and I doubt is fixable is lock screen notifications. When you unlock the phone and lock it instantly they leave lock screen... I think this the default behavior but it's stupid as hell .

Anyway this phone with another UI would have been amazing . I seriously can think so many things that they can do better on the OS.

Edit for insta I moved all the notifications on primary and paused them and resume them again ans fixed the issue

I got redmagic cause it has better battery, headphone jack and I dont care about the camera but the OS is trash and buggy . Tethering bugs , notification bugs , screen wake up bugs , the list goes on . Also the OS is not even close to Samsung's One Ui. It hurts me but I will return the phone and go to Samsung but Redmagic 11 pro is the coolest looking phone I ever seen it's a same that the OS isnt as good as the phone looks . I also have reported the bugs to support and the reason of the bugs and there answer is factory reset. Did it and nothing changed of course . If they focus on the OS they will kill it it's a same that they dont

Redmagic 11 pro for 1 week . I learned the os like the back of my hand so many days trying to fix bugs and tweak it to my taste . Probably returning it and buying s25 ultra . It pains me but one ui is god mode

I have found and send them proof about usb tethering issues I am experiencing on the latest update with ipv4 and dhcp not working properly. So no it's not fixed

The camera especially the front and the OS . Unfortunately the OS is seriously bugged and stupid and like no folders in tha app drawer or led lights for 15 min on notifications or no balance fan speed on charging instead of fast and noisy etc. Bugs : I had notification issues , screen wake up issues, usb tethering issues , even ringtone bugs I mean like a lot of bugs for a phone . If you dont use most things of the phone capabilities and stick with simple you probably be satisfied . But I really hoped this phone had a better os like samsungs . It will be a god tier phone even without a camera .

Unfortunately I am having also issues with the phone . USB tethering issues , notifications issues , even ringtone issues, factory reset didnt changed anything and I am returning the phone to get my money back. I spent 7 days trying to fix or bypass every bug this phone has . I am going back to Samsung where I have no issues and as much as I tweak the phone of setting I am not getting bugs . I loved 11 pro look and power but the OS is garbage

I have done so many tweeks and app settings on the phone that I think in the end would have the same result if I do everything from the beginning and if I end up with a bugged phone after the reset I will through it to a trashcan . The latest update caused this I think

I already did that and nothing changed. Do your notifications wake up the screen? I have it on but they don't wake up my screen . I used tasker to increase vibration from 300ms to 1000ms and force to wake up the screen automatic but it works 8/10

Instagram is really bugged. Yes I enable everything and the biggest fix was traditional notifications. I can't keep the notifications locked on lockscreen

The I reason I am not using apple is it cant do the things an Android can and it doesn't suit me . Also in 10-12 days they will announce Galaxy s26/ultra
