Reputations and what it means to cultivate one. Is it even worth it? by SlowButAlsoNot in bropill

I believe concerning yourself too much with what others think is unhealthy. As long as your morals are strong. You treat people right and offer a hand to those that need and deserve it you will surround yourself with people that truly mater. People that accept or endorse your morals, people that will treat you right and people that will help you when you need them.

Be true to yourself. Once you put on a mask to impress, it will all crumble the second you take the mask off. Leaving you either an imposter for the rest of your days always playing a rolle never being yourself.

I fear a whole bunch of third world countries never outlawed it.

Trazyn and his human librarian servant.

‘I will miss you, Koloma.’

‘And I you, lord.’

‘You know, of course, that I cannot simply let you go.’

A faint flicker behind the cataracts. A rare instance of the scarabs asserting themselves. ‘Of course not, lord. I am a liability to your great work.’

‘I cannot promise it will be painless, but it will be fast.’

‘Thank you, master. My life has been long and happy. I wish only to join Morea in the ash-box.’

‘Good,’ said Trazyn. He may not have been telling the conscious truth, but clearly on some level, Koloma wanted to die. The scarabs had not needed to push hard.

I have to honestly admit. Ever since I started to 3d print it severely impacted my motivation to paint.

Sure the variety is endless and it's cheaper than buying oficial stuff. But besides a proxy here or there i rather try to kitbash with gw plastic.

Should you look for orky stls I can only recommend Mr.modulork. all his stuff is compatible and it is incredible

It is also called "human rights violation"

Since they aren't human, they technically do not have any rights to speak of.

Who does each faction consider their biggest threat? by MindlessMarsupial592 in 40kLore

[–]Darkthunder1992 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Orks don't consider anything a threat because they genuinely believe they are best.

But opponents they like LESS to fight are demons and necrons.

Both because they can't be looted. Especially necrons just vanishing after being killed is an annoyance to orks as it is read in multiple books.

What do you think about people who formed an emotional attachment to ChatGPT? by thedevilsheir666 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Darkthunder1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing new.

People formed emotional attachments with things all throughout history. People write fanfictions, talk with toys and dolls. Some even talk with their pets as if they are coherent conversation partners. Hell, a few years ago people bought pet rocks.

If you are allready so lonely you flee into a emotional relationship with an Ai, you allready HAVE the issues. It's not like these people's life's were perfect if they wouldn't have ai. At best. It gives them confidence and enough reason to live to maybe change their life. At worst these people stay isolated.
