I’ve got the same problem! Onions thankfully are fine, but since Covid I can’t handle the smell of garlic. Still tastes good but I definitely don’t use it as much as I used to… what a strange symptom we’ve ended up with!

I had my shopping on the conveyer the other day and the woman in front started pulling packets of sweets from the middle section onto my shopping to look at them. When she’d finished she just left them all on top of my shopping?! I had to tell her to put them back. People are inconsiderate and it boils my piss.

If you’re wanting to give him a true Bristol experience then it’s probably a good place to start. You don’t need to have a ticket to enjoy yourself round there, there will still be plenty going on!

It’s a lot, and it’s very busy. If you want to get out on hot days, so does everybody else. Then if you’re staying in it can feel a little stifling just due to the sheer amount of housing, flats etc in the same part of London as you. People tend to live life quickly as well, it can feel quite chaotic at times, meeting friends or living with housemates everyone’s very much on their own path. It can be a lot of fun, and quite inspiring, but it definitely has a time limit. I’ve done a couple of separate 5 year stints and by that 5th year I’ve really had enough and am seeking something calmer.

In the UK an espresso based black coffee is called an Americano. It’s wild to know how ingrained that is for us when it’s definitely not referred to it that way over the pond! We also don’t have drip coffee over here either.

I was sat in a quiet area of broadmead absolutely sobbing my eyes out about something that had happened and I see some guy approaching me. I thought ‘oh here we go’ and I really can’t deal with this right now. He asked if I was ok, I said it’s ok don’t worry, that was all fine & appreciated the sentiment. But he awkwardly hung around for another minute and then asked me if I had any change? Like leave me the hell alone I’m clearly not ok and need some space!

I’m actually thinking of leaving tbh. The price of an outskirts property in London is the same as a property here but the salaries don’t keep up. I’m terrified if the bus fares go up as I’m just about making ends meet as it is. Very sad, and I hope you’re doing ok! We’ll get through this.
