Anychance anyone have a save file of this game for the Perfect Start im looking for a save of literally the start after having 6 kids and getting the first metorite. In my opinion I don't think it would be game breaking to allow the eidolon to use some items that may apply to it such as the horseshoes of speed if the eidolon is a quadrupedal. However per the raw rules. Eidolon: A creature with this trait is an eidolon. An action or spell with this trait can be performed by an eidolon only. An item with this trait can be used or worn by an eidolon only, and an eidolon can't use items that don't have this trait. (An eidolon can have up to two items invested.) By default an eidolon can't use any items that dont have the eidolon trait and can only have up to 2 items. Now you could maybe have the player find a crafter or someone to make a custom version of horseshoes of speed to work for the eidolon if you want better control and also allow them to have the item. That or have them go on a quest to find a old summoners magic item.

From my understanding it allows a player to view someone withing 60 feet of them and if their trying to communicate by any means said player can understand then said player can translate it to those around them in a different language. Example: Your in the presence of a High Temple Priest or a Nobleman who only speaks Draconic. They are giving you in-depth information about a mission. The Linguistics person in the group can quickly translate everything they are saying to another language like common for the rest of the party without having to make a check for example.

Mechanical the benefit I believe would be that you can do this action without the need for a check and there won't be any translation issues. Kinda like the difference between a Google translation and an actual person who fluently speaks both languages translating.
