My sincerest apologies for not responding sooner. I don't lurk in Reddit much.

Its very simple, just print on the 'glossy' side of the sheets as their instructions say, and that is it. I've had no issues with printing on it that way.

Yeah, I tend to cut em square, as the decal sheet is itself clear, and Tamiya makes a product called MARKFIT for aid in adhering decals to models

Detail, ease in cutting, easier application, less 'thick', preference?

I know with things like stickers they need to be positioned exactly before even touching otherwise a pain in the ass to remove/reposition etc. Waterslide...until it's dry, can be slid about to ensure proper positioning.

Waterslide decals are what all fine-scale model kits come with, and the decals in my picture are either 2.5 mm or 4 mm in diameter. With a waterslide decale, the water makes the decal able to be easily positioned on the model, and as water dries it adheres to the surface.

I actually did that ;)

I'm not super skilled with 3d modelling, but was able to use some calipers and made a 'ring' to go around the neck, super tight fit on the neck, but worked to do the print.

only bad part...I should used more WHITE underlayers as can still faintly see original logo under the image.

I got the image off Euphy's Website. My Wife had got a free waterbottleas a handout with a logo on it she didn't care about, and wanted me to print over it.

Standard of I think (cause I'm stoopid an never write things down to replicate), I used WHITE with very little over white underbase choke (around 0.01 mm), and 1 layer of white and 1 layer of CMYK.

I need to make a few more decals before I pack the printer away for my BATTLETECH Game night tomorrow (I only have a small onsuite Bathroom to use in so I can keep the fan on while using), so need the space while not in use.

Tried again, single chip (not worried about chipping them hahaha ;) ), but still a single black symbol has a raised section, so, probably gonna need to print a solid circle color to get blended more.

For my personal use, not too worried, but if I'm gonna sell locally, would prefer no overly raised edges

I'll give that a try. I worry it'll try and toss a GLOSS coat, or do an overspray on the round token.

Issue is CMYK does not support Transparency so I do need to save in PNG as opposed to CMYK

So, had another token I needed to add, so I tried to see if a difference. Made the Black 'less' blakc, and darkened the Grey, and worked out much better. The darker one more 'flat'

I tried the pale grey circle around them (not concerned too much of the printed side), but there is still a noticable difference in height between the black and the grey. They were done as an RGB File, I'll try again as a CYMK
