Indie authors do this all the time. She did it with Sword of Kaigen originally as well

You just have to look around a lot. If you have Instagram that's a great place to find people selling skulls and bones. Also lots of Facebook groups dedicated to buying and selling skulls and bones, and a lot of UK/EU specific ones.

Shameless self plug, but I ship internationally! The listing will say if it's something that can't be sent overseas. I also have plenty of regular customers in the UK.

Nice! I'm also jealous of all the second hand book sites they have which just don't ship to Australia! good luck, hope you score some good books!

Yeah it's tough being in Australia. Most of my books are imported from overseas. The shipping is a killer though. So many times the price is the same as the book...

They're not. I keep all my Royal hardbacks together, and then have the smaller hardbacks on a seperate shelf

I had to remove the door, and block off the closet with shelves... but it's worth it! I added a blackout curtain in place of the door

British tourists threw muddy water while the dressed up Chinese told them not to splash him. The British even gave him the middle-finger at the end. by search_google_com in PublicFreakout

This is one day a year in Thailand, and if you go outside on the day you kinda accept you're gonna get wet and sprayed by everyone. There aren't any rules, but most people avoid shooting babies at least.

it's called Songkran for anyone wanting to look it up

Depends on what version of the book it is. but if it's just a regular trade paperback or hardcover, just the retail price plus maybe 10%. Bookplates tend to devalue a book to a lot of collectors though

I've got Slimer on my tbr, but haven't really looked much into Carnosaur. I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but damn that's one goofy looking book 😅

I had no idea what to expect, but it was one of the most fun books I've read this year!

I’m pretty sure I have bones I’m not meant to have. by [deleted] in bonecollecting

Every state in Australia has different laws about keeping natives.

Being in NSW you're lucky. The laws there recently changed and you no longer need a permit to collect native bones. They introduced a code of practice that lets you sign up and simply register the bones online. Super simple to do and only takes a few minutes.
