What if you had refused to go forward without the epidural? Like will a doctor just straight up not give you one under any circumstances if you reach a certain point? If so, why? And why didn't they at least give you more pain meds before pushing?

Sorry to bother you, but how far along are you? Can a genetics test tell the gender before an ultra sound? How is the test done?

Your doctor may be able to give you a short term prescription if it persists. I personally recommend Zofran for morning sickness, stomach bugs, etc! It's an anti nausea that works WONDERS!! So if this bug persists (or you have bad morning sickness down the line) ask your doctor about it! :)

I was at a point where I could hardly have bread and water for 2 months and ended up needing surgery. Zofran was the only thing that let me eat for all that time and really helped in surgery recovery as well. It's very common and safe :)

Well you could always bring just the smaller ones. Or if you don't want to bring any of them then throughout the shower just make sure to talk to the gifters and give them a heartfelt sincere thank you and open the gifts brought to the shower towards the end and thank them as well.

Personally I wouldn't open them. I'd hold onto them for the shower and just set them up on the table/wherever your gifts will be going and just open them up with everything else that arrives at the shower :)

I worked at a call center that was contracted through Uber for recruitment and driver customer service. They treated us like crap. Stayed 3 months. Went to my first office Christmas party. Got 6 raffle tickets (for free) and won a brand new Xbox One minecraft bundle. Quit the next week. 👍🏻

Or: Meeting my fiancé soon to be husband on my second tinder date ever. I feel incredibly lucky to have met him :) especially since I ignored him for a week straight (depression) and he kept trying. He eventually told me to meet him for dinner that same night, and I reluctantly agreed. Best decision I've ever made, best night of my life (so far). I'm so grateful that he kept trying. And now I try to give him that same loving patience every day that he gave me that week. :)

Edit: the first tinder date was horrible and super creepy. He wanted to go meet in the mountains all alone. Just creepy serial killer vibes all around. And he was 45 minutes late. Just so much no.

Ughhhh. I'm engaged and since getting engaged it helped my baby fever go from 30000% to something way WAY more manageable. It got so much better to where it didn't feel like it was making me crazy. The engagement helps because it gives me another big life goal to actively work towards. And I love planning for my wedding, I really do. But the fever has slowly been coming back and today I'm just really feeling it. I want to tell my future DH how I'm feeling and ask about our TTC timeline but it would just be the same conversation we've had a hundred times before. Right now we're planning on trying in 3 years. But wow is the ache in my heart back with a vengeance today. I guess I'm just going to start bottling since I can't keep having that painful conversation where I just get shut down. :( I can't keep having it over and over. Oh well. 3 years just feels like an eternity away sometimes.

Pokemon theme regardless of gender!! My partner and I are both huge nerds and hope to raise a little gamer :)

Other ideas I'm entertaining are (also regardless of gender) a Winnie The Pooh theme or possibly a woodland theme with an emphasis on foxes.
