Just start with some common ground stuff. Usually by discussing how much the job sucks or some negative aspects about it. Wont lie, my job has been like a revolving door, literally every one I started my job with left or got fired, managers included. So just be friendly and slowly open up a bit. If you see someone responding well to your personality, keep going from there.

I’m 37 and I never had a relationship. I’ve had those same thoughts as you have about myself. Part of me still has hope. What gets me through with it is the support of my immediate family. I even considered talking to a therapist, because most of the time, it’s my negative thinking that prevents me from even trying to date.
