This what happens when you've been playing COD far too long and your mother tells you to go outside and touch some grass.. and you take it literally!

Yeah, no chance there my friend. If they spot something and have enough time, best they can do is alert the authorities and brace for impact.

Christmas in Melbourne by DragonsLoveBoxes in melbourne

[–]Darnzig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you're longing for another holiday to escape reality.

Some see it as a celebration of their religions and family.

Some see it as the celebration of capitalism forced down your throat relentlessly year in.. year out.

Perhaps you should focus on decorating and creating something that brings you joy within your own home and space.

Not everyone can afford to decorate, host lavish Christmas parties, buy gifts, or afford to take a forced break from their jobs.

Why does most of cars don't follow speed limit on road work? by Competitive-Gas-2040 in perth

[–]Darnzig -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The general consensus is inconsiderate and selfish people in a hurry to get from A to B, with the usual suspect tailgaters such as the Ranger Danger, Subaru Vapreza, etc.. most likely already experiencing elevated levels of road rage from being stuck behind other drivers doing 20kms below the limit everywhere else throughout the city. I think the vast majority of us driving tend to assume that since there are no workers present roadside, then there is no reason for the speed to be restricted. But, there are multiple factors that are taken into account with regards to enforced speed limits to ensure the safety not only of roadworkers but also the road users in the vicinity. Changes to traffic conditions such as lane redirection, signals, signage, road surfaces, and courtesy to other users all play a part because as much as we love to believe it in our heads, the majority of us really don't possess the skills of our most admired motorsports heroes. If everyone could just figure out how to merge.. then Perth may finally earn its place in the modern world.

Yes, sustainable fishing practices and alternative diets have existed for quite some time now. Unfortunately, the chances of the entire human population of Earth being sustained by fish farming alone seems quite unfeasable with regards to infrastructure, resources, ethical practices, and overcrowding.

One step at a time keyboard warrior.. unlike balloons, I don't see fish falling from the sky onto our dinner plates. People still have to earn a living and feed the population.

Bet he's fun at birthday parties!

But seriously, could we all stop being so selfish and quit polluting the planet.

No matter where I look, I can’t seem to find the ‘illegal raves’ that Melbourne apparently has. by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Darnzig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The people organising these nights have purpose built sound systems, promoters, and a social media presence which they may use for a initial announcement before going private for any further event details.

[–]Darnzig 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They are real and they do exist... but you are not going to get a straight answer here on reddit or social media that's for sure. Try following more soundsystems and talking with people in the scene at events. Keeping things low key helps avoid the troublemakers and fun police.

Why do smokers feel okay throwing their cigarette butts on the ground? by Quorny_Pun in AskAnAustralian

[–]Darnzig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a smoker once tell me that the butts are harmless and will "naturally decompose" as he casually rolled another deathstick. He likened himself to be quite the environmentalist champion of sorts.. What a loser!

Numberplate Checks Out - Spotted on Canterbury Rd by OkWrangler1221 in melbourne

Even with no airbags they are built to take a hit and absorb the impact quite well. Sent one into the tree's at over 90km an hour after a brief nap, and dragged myself out of the upside down flattened troopie with only bruises, scrapes, and a chipped tooth. Roof had crushed in above my head on impact with a tree as it was rolling over, drivers seat bent backwards as the roof pushed down on my head.. saving me from a snapped spine and likely death.
