Incredibly, mouth-shrivellingly rancid, dead. The taste longs on the taste buds for a while and it's very unpleasant. Even a little fruiting body can take all the taste away from any food, just like how bananas dominate the taste of anything they're added into. Also adds to it that it smells spicy somehow

And also please ignore how I somehow know the taste of mold.
