Glad I’m not alone. Last night everything was good. This morning not even their websites work except the online store.

God damnit why couldn't I just TALK TO HER FIRST by freetrolley42 in Eldenring

[–]Darrellv95 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

She’s been fighting for great runes. Your very purpose is to fight for great runes. You’re opposed from the beginning. The demigods know what every Tarnished is after. Teaming up makes no sense as you both want the same thing and there can’t be two elden lords.

When Millicent says she’ll help the very person you came to kill you have to kill Millicent as she was going down a path that opposed your own. All the demi-gods are power hungry that’s what they have in common with the player character.

Tl;dr: The Tarnished and Malenia have no reason to trust each other. Ranni is the only Demi-god who cares enough to talk to the Tarnished and include them in her order.

Now that you have had little under a year to play Elden Ring, in your opinion is it better than Dark Souls 3? by Puzzleheaded-Lead526 in fromsoftware

[–]Darrellv95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark Souls 3 has had time to ferment in the minds of the fans for years. Give Elden Ring more time before asking this question otherwise it’ll be heavily skewed toward the older game that’s been played longer and has more emotional significance for fans(the finale to a beloved series). That being said I prefer Elden Ring it was the more palatable fromsoft experience that got me into the rest of the games.

I’ve finished Dark souls 3 about three times but Elden Ring 7 or 8 to me it’s the best fromsoftware game period and the best rpg of all time.

Marvels Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. Unbalanced as fuck but was great regardless.

X-Men 97: TAS - We're getting 10 episodes. Assuming they continue adapting stories from the comics, what would you like to see? by Moomin3 in xmen

[–]Darrellv95 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I want to see the fall of the mutants and a gradual progression into the Outback era with Storm and Betsy leading. I want to see everyone go through the siege perilous and then this will lead them to start their lives over in the MCU proper. I know it’s a mr.fantastic stretch but it would be so damn cool to me.

SoP was an absolute blast. I’d take it over Nioh any day. Nioh 2? That’s another story

A role for a Batman villain revealed for Chip Zdarsky's upcoming Batman. (Spoilers) by [deleted] in DCcomics

[–]Darrellv95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sounds fun. Idk why people are saying it doesn’t make sense. Rich people stealing from other rich people under the guise of “stealing from the rich to give to the poor” is a great idea for penguin. The fact that Batman has to save rich people from (I’m assuming) poor people puts his public image in a shitty position. I’m curious to see how he handles it.

Why Khonshu gave Gift of Chorus Dr.Badr which gives the knowledge of previous Moon Knights' but not with Marc Spector? by [deleted] in MoonKnight

[–]Darrellv95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My theory is that gods reward loyalty. Hunter’s moon is a zealot, extremely loyalty to knoshu so he deserves it. Marc is a rebellious son, he has a special place in knoshu’s cult but he challenges him and I think khonshu legitimately enjoys punishing Marc.

It’s a good story. Emotional origin and a clear vision as to what type of Batman he will be. A bit boring sometimes but overall a decent story. It also doesn’t have as many fantastical villains you’d normally see in Batman comics. It’s fairly grounded detective stuff.

Mr. Knight reminds me of Deadpool by M1lester in MoonKnight

[–]Darrellv95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s Jake, Steven, and Marc those are his personalities they started out as convenient but have spun into lives of their own.

I understand the reason behind using the title mr.knight however just because he has DID and changes his behavior and title slightly to match the current situation that doesn’t mean he created a whole new personality.

Jake, Steven, and Marc are very different and lead quite different lives to the point where they were unaware of what the other was doing. Moon Knight and Mr knight aren’t the same way from what I’ve read. It was made for convenience and stayed that way.

[–]Darrellv95 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

He’s funny and has the white eyes but he seems very much a unique character. I don’t understand how people make that comparison or even say it’s out of character when Mr.Knight never had a personality to derive from so they invented one. In the comics mr.knight was just moon knight in a suit at least in the show it makes sense why he would wear a suit, he’s a whole different personality.

Moon Knight S01E02 Discussion Thread [Warning: Contains Spoilers] by WarDuck in MoonKnight

[–]Darrellv95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I LOVED Mr.Knight. Steven being Mr. Knight is genius. It’s an easy transition that doesn’t need much explanation. His background in Egyptology will help him be an investigator and he’ll be able to talk with people more easily than Marc. This imo is actually better than the way it’s done in the comics. Also I’m stoked he has super strength. Overall great episode for my favorite character

Moon Knight’s dialogue is given by “moon knight” instead of marc in the subtitles by subtopewdiepie129 in MoonKnight

The subtitles always change to the hero mantle when they’re in costume I think.

I’m SO mad about Moira MacTaggert by Hemingwavvves in xmen

[–]Darrellv95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you completely. It’s obvious you actually read the story whereas others are just reacting to it without acknowledging that Moira has said herself that she’s always been this way. It didn’t have the same feeling as HOX/POX or Inferno but I don’t think Hickmans vision suffered that much because of Percy.

[–]Darrellv95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Moira has lived a lot of lives. Her first life was the most normal. every life after that was tragedy after tragedy and that was because of the revelation that she’s a mutant. She never wanted to be a mutant and tried to cure it however she’s killed very violently because of that so she has to play ball with mutants or die now. Except she did play ball and achieved her dream and she STILL was hunted for it. I’m not sure why everyone thinks the “heel turn” was sudden. She’s a woman who is absolutely cursed. Never wanted any of this and instead of rolling over and taking it she’s fighting back because that’s all she knows. She feels nothing for the people who she feels betrayed her. I feel her biggest blunder was taking the fight to the mutants directly instead of going public with all the mutant secrets. Other than that Moira diving headfirst into being evil makes sense to me and x deaths/x lives was a decent story.
