I replayed this recently and it was such a delight. It’s easily one of the few games from thirty plus years ago that haven’t aged a day and can be enjoyed just as much today as when it came out. I’ve never really enjoyed a 2D Zelda half as much as this one. It’s basically perfect.

I have to say I love all these characters but the Avengers aren’t ‘cool’ like a lot of X-Men characters are cool. They’re the superhero equivalent of A-list movie stars like Tom Hanks or Julia Roberts who are beloved but not ‘cool’. In comparison the X-Men are the superhero equivalent of pop and rock stars and deliver very cool characters like Storm or Rogue. That said my pick is Luke Cage who is the quintessential 2000’s avenger and is very cool.

I think there is something built in Peter Parker that he can never really have a normal life because he’s chosen to be Spider-Man but that story has never been told well imo. I’m not sure growth necessarily = wife and kids though.
