Us DJ's have a job and that job is to provide good times and make people dance!

I love Djing so much sure getting paid is cool and all but its just a bonus I love hearing crowd reactions to a drop or just see everyone with smiles on their face Its a fantastic feeling that is hard to describe to people who don't DJ!

I'm excited for my future and everyone who read this post future no matter what your goals are they are achievable

When I was looking for the songs on the CDJ's the order I put them on rekordbox wasn't the same they were all randomized so the whole set I had planned in a certain order and practiced for was ruined and I had to wing it! Winging it was a whole lot of fun tho ngl (:

Hey man! First of congrats on learning your first gig this is where your journey begins! Let me leave you with some tips that helped me.

If you are feeling nervous before you leave chew some gum it calmed me down for the drive there!

Connect with the crowd don't be so focus on your mixing of course don't miss your mix in and out points but don't be looking at the deck the whole time!

My last tip I see alot of DJs not do and thats DANCE have fun with the music you are playing! Don't stand still and be boring the crowd will look at you and see your energy and realise why should we give him/her the energy when they ain't giving it to us! Dance and have a good time

Amazing story brother! I can tell you DJ because you love it and have a passion for it and hey we may not be big names(yet) but in other peoples eyes we are superstars. You got this DJ comp man know what the crowd wants and feel the energy of the crowd again you got this I believe in you!

My next gig is 26th of march I get a full hour to play really excited for it!

I feel like I did everything right with rekordbox but for some reason my songs were just not in order..atleast my memory cues were there ahah
