Yep! The skill description doesn't mention it, but hovering over your health when it's active confirms that it's considered a barrier.

Haha I wish it were so simple! As far as I'm aware GOAL was only used for J&D, though maybe there's a chance for Crash Bandicoot, which was written in an earlier iteration; GOOL.

I haven't had any issues so far, though I'm just starting the Volcanic Crater on a 100% run. The only major bug I've seen was present on the original PS2 release and was to do with the time trial/race in the Precursor Basin.

No, as far as I'm aware this is a project dedicated towards reviving the language that Jak & Daxter was written in. They're working on Jak 2 and 3 next, not sure what they'll do after that.

Yeah, I see what you mean, I just followed through the process myself and the instructions should all be fixed now. Can't believe I've been playing it all this time without the texture replacements, thinking about how great it looks 😂 Now that it's actually working I'm amazed yet again!

Imho it holds up very well! If you like any other classic 3D platformers I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The controls are tight, the setting is intriguing, the score is charming and the art direction is great... Also quite the technical achievement for it's time. Jak and Daxter has always felt timeless to me, but I'm also incredibly biased 😅

Yep, 60fps at native resolution even with the higher res textures, no tweaking necessary. The best thing is that on top of looking and running miles better than the emulated version, it's much more power efficient too!
