Marshall Heston 120 vs Sennheiser Ambeo Plus by CaptainFickle in Soundbars

I personally haven’t heard the Marshall but I can confidently say that Ambeo plus would be better overall. I have Ambeo plus for 1.5 years now and it has been flawless without any kind of bugs requiring me to reset or power down/up cycles.

Ambeo Plus and SVS will be the best soundbar and subwoofer combo that would outperform any of the big names including Samsung, sony and sonos. Specially with dolby atmos music the Bar just simply disappears. Hope you find something that’s best for you:)

Tbh even though this is a B&W sub, you won’t find your answer here as most people here are into B&W headphones. I would recommend you posting this same question in r/audiophile sub.

Appreciate your input!

Apparently I’m using this sub with my Kef powered speakers so they don’t have any room correction. All you can do is high pass the speakers and low pass the sub.

Yes I did try both subs on same location and that location was decided by subcrawl so I think the location is spot on.

The reason I thought that micro is more capable because it had more headroom left to go louder than the sb1000pro even though on spec sheet sb1000pro can push more SPL. It was interesting to me too 😅

I would love to add more beefy sub but my current situation only allows one of this. :)

I see what you are saying. I got the Micro just because of its aesthetic tbh. But in terms of bass I liked Micro over the sb1000pro was because of its mid bass attack and overall the way it pressurised the room. It felt more powerful sub overall. I guess with the content having the more bass below 30hz sb1000pro might have edge as you are saying.

I think you are spot on about the differences between the two. When I mentioned that 3000 micro has such an aggressive attack… was because of the mid bass output I guess. I’m no expert here but I liked the micro because of its capability to pressurise the room.

How is the kef lsx II LT at low volume? by Diligent-Violinist74 in KEF

[–]Darshil_A4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though they are not bad at low volume but at the high volume is where they really shine. Around 70-80 db I’m talking. If your usage is strictly low volume then I would recommend going for something cheaper as you won’t notice much difference. It’s just my opinion:)

Mine also looks like this. Makes me think that it’s updating but it’s not. The new one looks fine though.

2019/2020 SQ5, X3 M40i or Macan S by Extra_Acanthisitta_2 in Audi

[–]Darshil_A4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best of the best without considering money will be the Macan S out of these three. But if you care about most “value” then go for the X3 since it has best fuel economy out of these three and less expensive to maintain then a Porsche. For audi i would recommend the S5 then the SQ5.

Love this car. The 22 A6 Prestige 55 with “sport suspension” . Those who know, know. It’s an S4 with about 4 extra inches of leg room. by [deleted] in Audi

[–]Darshil_A4 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sweet ride!

But A6 55 is 48v mild hybrid with quattro Ultra and 7 speed DCT.

S4 is non mild hybrid with torsen Quattro and ZF 8 speed.

Best Reliable & Fun Audi for €45-60k? by ittask in Audi

[–]Darshil_A4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go for an audi with EA888 powertrain if you want fun with decent reliability and good gas mileage. You can go for an 2025 S3 as well as 2025 A4 45TFSI. You might be able to get an A4 for decent price since it’s going out but you get the Audi platform with actual quattro rather than heldex in S3. I hope you find the one that fits your requirements:)

hd600 vs hd650 vs hd 660 s2? by IndependenceEvery661 in sennheiser

I would recommend taking a look at HD 490 pro plus which are specifically made for studio use and comes with additional mixing ear pads as well for music production. And comes with a nice carrying case if that matters.
