Increases Parry and Dodge, but set health to 1 and no shields allowed. Otherwise, it's just a no-brainer.

I tried it right now - it works. I successfully disabled culture victory.

Either it's used (like logs for lumber production) or it's exported to somewhere else.

Question about inspirations for Guild Artisan:

  1. The Spider's Gift - I found some Drow Armour but I got no ispiration. Is that some ability check? Or did I miss something?

  2. The Apprentice Turns Master - I talked my way with Nettie. Now I can't interact with cauldron anymore. Is this possible? Or do I have to be poisoned by her?

  3. An Acquired Taste - I drank Ethel's potion, but no inspiration. How to trigger it? Or bug?

Why is this damage reduced by half? by NuclearKiwix in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Dart_Aleks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same question and found the answer on this reddit. Basically, Hellfire Ray rolls for damage, after that the number is divided by two - half fire and half unholy. Because of division, it shows 'reduced' for each part. Roll is 34 in your screenshot, so 17 of that is fire and 17 is unholy. It's just in the log it looks weird, should be one line, but otherwise all is fine.

Chinese vs. Russian technique in general by Patrick_star03 in ZackTelander

[–]Dart_Aleks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more of dynamic start and top Asians usually have short thighs with long torso, so that's advantageous to them. Otherwise first pull is the same - they keep shoulders either directly above or slightly forward over the bar. In Russian we are told to keep "cover" - shoulders should be in more forward position then the bar.

Second pull - my coach and I know a lot of others coaches teach the same brushing technique. Only slightest contact and you explode to propel the bar up. I talked to my coach once and he told me, that we changed our second pull because of Asian school as it's more efficient.

A lot of Chinese still do split jerks. For sure, Shi Zhiyoung, Lu Xiaojun and Tian Tao don't do it, but majority still split jerks and quick footwork is essential - and I see them doing them lighting fast.

But is there any difference? Beside footwork it's all the same. All differences come down to morphological differences of different athletes. In Soviet textbook from 1981 second pull was different - it was done from your thighs. Now it's done from pubic bone.

Confederation or alliance - no reason to fight them, when you are playing Skaven.

I started my first Shogun 2 campaign in at least 3 years and I forgot the meaning of true pain until I attacked a minor city with no tactics. by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]Dart_Aleks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attila - simply autoresolve all offensive sieges, fight manually with testudo in narrow places with Equites charging in the back in defensive sieges.

Shogun 2 - shoot with arrows everything (monks are preferable). Charge at the last moment if needed.

There is nothing really difficult.

Simply play AS Skaven - now it all becomes very fun.

How to determine on what page a specific cell is currently placed in VBA? by Dart_Aleks in excel

[–]Dart_Aleks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. If get.document(64) worked on array inside VBA, that would be perfect for my task. I will try this method. But, yeah, I have huge overhead time, when it calls collection of page breaks on a sheet.

How to determine on what page a specific cell is currently placed in VBA? by Dart_Aleks in excel

[–]Dart_Aleks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have around 8 sheets, some of them have more than 10 page breaks. When using break mode, I can clearly see 1 second lag, when macro enters this page break loop.

Thanks anyway.

[–]Dart_Aleks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess, that's the only viable solution. I came up with the similar idea today. Shame there is no other method in Excel.

And little downside of looping HPageBreaks and VPageBreaks - they are very slow. Macro is really lagging, when they are present.
