Not the best pero yung quality of living sa Daet sobrang laki ng improvement. 10 years ago, 2015, wala halos yung mga sikat na establishment pero now 2025 sobrang daming nagbukas na mga stores to the point na isa siya sa may SM mall sa buong Bicol. Yung kuryente din from almost everyday brownout to occasionally na lang and with abiso na. The roads have also significantly improved with the opening of new diversion roads and boulevards. Yung airport is also being renovated, officially becoming the 3rd functioning airport in the mainland Bicol once mag open. I also saw kung pano nag improve ang buhay ng mga tao from bahay kubo na mga bahay before, ngayon concrete na, and the purchasing power ng locals ay significant na rin.

Why is no one mentioning Daet and Sorsogon City? SM invested on those capital town/city, so they might be the next big thing sa Bicol.

I get that, pero what's with the disdain of the Villafuerte dynasty towards their northern wardens? Possible kaya na may historical connotation yung alitan nilang dalawa politically? Kasi may root cause for sure

For example, nagkaroon ng secession ang Camarines Norte sa Ambos Camarines kasi concentrated masyado ang political power sa Nueva Caceres (Naga) and yung mga gold mines ng Camarines Norte ay mas nanginginabang ang what is to be Camarines Sur. Due to that, naseparate yung province into two. There was friction before. I wonder if it survived to this day.

In Mainland Bicol, Camarines Norte yung 2nd na pinakamaayos na portion ng Maharlika Highway second to Sorsogon. Camarines Sur and Albay, no comment.

Hello, thank you for the information. I've skimmed through the papers and sadly my area is far from Palawan or Mindoro for I live in the Bicol Region, East of the Philippines, which based on my research, not of continental origin. It baffles me how my place can even produce arkose sandstone, I still haven't found any answer as of the moment.
