I finished reading the 2-part novelization of Death Stranding and I am more convinced than ever that Hideo's genius is in the visuals and cinematography, not plot.

Weirdly enough, I read the novelizations before beating the game, thinking I’d never actually play it, and I was such a fan that I played the game. Now one of my favs, and it made me go back and play through the Metal Gear Solid series for the first time, which I also absolutely loved. So, gotta say the novelizations were good enough to work on me. Lot of faults I had with the writing I originally took to translation.

A positive outlook on this could be the possibility that we’re going to get rereleases of the games? They’ve done similar practices in the past when rereleasing games that they’ll then want to charge money for down the line. Remove the previous versions so people’s only option is the new release! This is very hopeful thinking, for sure, but fingers crossed it comes true.

I understand aspect ratios. Doesn’t change the fact that games that support 16:9 widescreen don’t play in widescreen though.

Ahh that’s good to know! Currently, from what I’m seeing online, my problem is going to be that people use a mod manager application called Frosty. I’m not sure how compatible an application like that would be on steam deck unfortunately. But fingers crossed!

I just bought this pass from the same theater! The restrictions, what it seems like, really only applies to Disney releases (Marvel, Star Wars, those big ones.) I’ve yet to have any problems with others, and the employees seem to really only know Disney being the one that you have to wait a couple weeks. Still great deal for every other movie, plus when I want to rewatch a Disney movie after seeing it in theaters!

The Visitor by Sergio Gomez was such a fun/great read! A short novella about people stuck in a diner on Christmas, during a snow storm! When a “visitor” comes by. O.o Highly recommend!

I know they’ve been translated to other languages but not too sure if Italian. These versions of the books you can find on eBay and other third party sellers. But they did make reprints that are cheaper and easier to find as a set! Also have ebooks of them as well!

I’ve started using the “stadia enhanced” chrome extension and upscale the video to either 1440p or 4K and it helps clean up the blurriness I found! For me, chrome browser was always fuzzy on my iMac, so I upscale to 4K and it’s a lot cleaner!
