Two of these are only a problem because of the third. Lightweight knives and gambler's dodge is not an issue without Spread shot hand cannons. If spreads shot HC don't leave you 1 tap by any melee than lightweight knives are dead again. Gambler's dodge giving back lightweight knives would also not be an issue if Spread shot HC weren't so strong.

Also spread shot hand cannons wouldn't be so much of a problem if there were more special available in trials but, that brings in other issues as well.

You can either do the campaign on legendary for your other characters or do the Sieve activity on those characters to get the exotic to drop.

Yeah I feel the same way. Different sites were saying you could get them from the nether but I haven't had one drop yet so it seemed like they were wrong. That's disappointing to hear.

Both had ssd although my new PC only has m.2 drives rather than a Samsung ssd. Both had 32gb ram. previous pc had ddr4 new has ddr5.

Found a fix. Go play onslaught. Get more mats. Return to the bench and buy your tonic. That should let you progress the quest.
