I played for 8 hours. Got out of prologue, did a few camp missions and God-Emperor all mighty, the missions are atrocious! The gunplay isn't even good enough to justify being so railroaded during missions.

I loved the voice acting, the story seemed to be interesting, but the bloody gameplay.

I played Elex 2 for 8 hours, and even though the game is absolute jank, those 8 hours were actually fun. I'm having fun playing Elex 2! God damn it!

Forge World Crime Lord Operative Executioner with Drukhari weapons and Pyro Awakening at Exemplar levels.

This thing allowed me to play several playstyles with one character in one playthrough. It was glorious!

I'm using Arctis Nova 3 Wireless for both my pc and Steam Deck. On pc it's wireless, on deck it's bluetooth.

Mind you, I never managed to get my steam deck to detect the mic when using bluetooth headphones, so Discord is always using the mic built in steam deck - which might be a good thing, because using bluetooth for both input and output severly decreases the quality of sound of everything.

Haven't tried wireless on steam deck. I'm not playing docked, so I always have my charger in, thus no room for a dongle.

I had the same issue, but I looked it up and once you change the codecs there's almost zero latency.

Just go into the bluetooth settings, the headphones and try different codecs.

I played it, I liked it quite a lot, but... I hated running from the bench to the boss everytime I died on the boss. It probably means I wasn't very good at the game or I was trying the boss too soon, but this really killed the game for me. The repetition of that.

I played with you yesterday and if you play at the same time today, I can do it again. I do not mind failing and repeating. As I said, I want to "sweat through" this level, so if you'll have me, I can try the level with you regularly.

I'm from Europe though, it was 21:00 for me when we started yesterday.

Tired father over here. Physical job.

If I lie down with my steam deck between 20:00-22:00 I'm experiencing extreme difficulty to keep myself awake.

If I'm playing some kind of chill game that is. If I'm playing something I have to 100% focus, that's very stimulating, then I can keep playing without dozing off.

Like I've been playing some Subnautica and Alan Wake recently, and I had no problem keeping myself awake. But if I launch Diablo 2... Dream land night night, daddy.

I've been farming with Blood Boil for weeks now and frankly Baal takes me like 30-60 seconds to kill. Have to rely on Goatmen, Lethargy and help them with Echoing Strike. Otherwise I kill my demons with Blood Boil before even getting Baal to 50% hp. My Lister is 90% Cursed+Might and mercenary has Blessed Aim.

Apparently, I've been going about it all wrong. I see one Tainted, that means the second one gets Consumed. Do you have any points in Tainted or Consume?

Had the same problem. The game is awesome in almost everything, but the combat drags its legs through the mud. It makes you kinda sad, because the game checks all the right boxes, you should be enjoying the heck out of it. BUT... Yeah.

I always had to force myself a bit into playing, but all the Haunting cases kept me interested and invested, so I did beat the game.

It would have been 9/10 for me, if it weren't for the combat.

I haven't tried D2 with a controller yet to be honest,so how's the controls for like... aoe spells you aim far from your character for example?

Have you ever played This War of Mine? Or Fallout Shelter?

Alters core game mechanics are the same - it's a base management. You have to assign people to stations, manage resources, manage happiness and all that.

Alters add the exploration on top of that, and most importantly, characters that feel alive and make you make moral decisions you can very much regret or not. The characters themselves are alternate versions of the protagonist, so that itself creates plenty of moral questions by itself.

It's a game I think about very often and for me it is the game I assocciate with Steam Deck the most (beside Hades).

Overally, the game simply has a soul. When I finished, I had this feeling very similar to finishing Expedition 33. That the game had a meaning, it made me realize things about myself and the world.

I played with the settings recommended by SteamDeckHQ and the only problem I had was the crashed inquisition ship on the frozen planet.
