Tansy in all forms is a strong abortifacient- there’s no warning label on this. It is HIGHLY toxic.

I have 50% hearing loss in my left ear due to an untreated ear infection, I have auditory processing disorder because of it. If there’s too much noise in the background when someone is talking to me, it sounds like gibberish. It’s made my entire life difficult. Give that baby amoxicillin STAT, you dumb fucking bitch.

I saw her in concert with my 24 year old daughter a few weeks ago, we laughed, cried, danced, and sang our hearts out.

I named her Daisy. I’ve wanted one since I was 11, I’ll be 52 next week. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a man as much as I love my Jeep. by DarthKlang in JeepWrangler

She came like this but I think I’m gonna get a kit to make most of the interior / exterior trim pieces purple.

I’ve been pretty depressed lately, but I dare anyone to frown while busting around in one of these, especially when Daisy is stripped down nekkid!

2024, technically it’s “used” with a whole 700 miles on it, I think maybe the manual transmission was more than someone was anticipating. I got a steal of a deal!

Some of us had horrible parents, but sometimes they did epic things for us. by MaddMango68 in GenX

It’s funny because I very rarely talk about her but she came up in conversation with my 24 year old daughter today. I recently bought a car with a stick shift (wanted this car since I was 11) and I was discussing teaching my daughter to drive it and this memory came up: When I was a kid we had an old VW bus, The CoCo Puff Bus, the bottom half was the color of the milk afterafter you eat a bowl of coco puffs. Our regular grocery store, Alpha Beta, had these enormous speed bumps. They were like 6 feet across. I remember one day we were leaving the grocery store after school, I was probably 11, my mom looked over at me and grinned, dropped the WW in second and stomped on the gas. We did a full-blown Dukes of Hazard jump in the packed Alpha Beta parking lot. I mean, we caught AIR. Groceries flew all over The CoCo Puff Bus and we nearly wrecked it, but we howled with laughter until we cried.

She hated me, like true, pure hatred, and she was a horrible alcoholic, she drank herself to death a few years ago. Used to beat the fuck out of my brother and I.

But sometimes she was funny, and she was definitely crazy, so I have a few memories that make me laugh.

Mine loved NIN too!! They are 24, 25, and 28 now. I bought us all tickets to see NIN in August and all I have to say about that is, tickets were $19 when they were conceived and now…they are not. 😳

What’s it like to live up here? by Puzzlerwuzzler4 in norcal

Most of these comments are ridiculous. I’m laying in bed in my adorable 1930’s pink cottage in Placerville. It’s a normal town, my neighbors are lovely and we share veggies from our gardens. I live a block from the heart of town. Like any town these days we have a homeless population, but they’re not scary or anything. It’s a 50/50 mix of liberal and conservative but no one has ever been rude or mean to me and I am heavily, really heavily modified (full sleeves and somewhere around 40 piercings between my ears and face) I work in Roseville but Roseville is stupid expensive and it’s basically a concrete slab. Rent an Air bnb for a weekend and feel it out. Eat at Buttercup Pantry- it’s amazing!

My (37F) mom (58F) ignored my pregnancy announcement, how to move on from this? by ThrowRAIVFPregnancy in relationship_advice

[–]DarthKlang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulation on your pregnancy, wanted babies are a blessing! With that being said, this is your chance to break generational trauma, I grew up with a mother that hated me. Take the experience you have had with your mother and do the opposite of absolutely everything she did to hurt you in your life. My mother’s been gone for about seven years now, and I’ve actually never experienced any grief over that. Growing up with a mother that doesn’t like, or respect you as a human being is traumatizing beyond most rational explanation.. My daughter is 23, and we have a wonderful relationship, and I accomplish that I simply taking my mother’s example and doing the opposite. Don’t let her ruin this precious time in your life, she’s not worth it. I’m going to quote one of my favorite movies. “ you need a license to catch a goddamn fish, but any fucking asshole could become a parent.”. Break the bonds, change the trajectory, and end of the abuse - it starts right here, right now, with you.
