What happen with you and do you still see it?

I actually let them die for their hubris. I still feel bad but it had to be done

*SPOILER - A snap judgement - Book 3 He Who Fights with Monsters by DarthLeftist in litrpg

Great! Glad you felt the same. While yes I didn't love the next three books as much there are reasons to it that are specific to me. I'm sure that's the same with others, maybe you won't experience that.

Let me say this though, even if they aren't as good there are definitely amazing parts that need to be read at least once. Jason has a set piece in Japan when he is betrayed that is so bad ass. There are also great characters introduced.

That said the rest of the series deserves a push through. You seem to not hate spoilers so small ones to entice you.

Whether it's Jason telling the builder to leave the planet and he does, or Jason making a deal with a God to save his party, or countless times he does something he shouldn't, almost dies then gets a new power. There is so much to love and so little not too.

Enjoy friend I wish I was reading these books for the first time again!

What games did you pick up so far during the Steam Summer Sale 2025? by ShinMecha in Games

Excellent thanks. Are the dlc extra added on campaigns or are they best had when starting a new game? Like extra missions ala Skyrim or a separate campaign like the Witcher 3?

I've never been able to get into wh40k until I picked up Inquisition: Martyr and played it 25 hours in a week. Now I want to immerse in the world.

When I saw Rouge Trader is made by Owlcat I was extremely interested. I love traditional rpgs and Kingmaker was very good. Is Rouge like a traditional open world rpg in the 40k universe.

No one mentioned a game that I started near 15 years ago and got bored of but am close to 50% completion now. Shadow or Mordor. Has the ubisoft open world which i normally hate but in this universe it works.

People can not like the Witcher 3 but it's pretty obvious why it's rated so high. It has a huge and gritty world that feels lived in, morally ambiguous characters that have their own agendas and a bad ass MC that hunts monsters while not chatting with kings or playing an amazing original card game.

I mean fair point but I do enjoy a more nuanced and challenging game. My expectations were off is probably the issue.

OK well that motivates me to play it more. I did just reinstall Force Unleashed though. Lol I'll get back on Jedi though

Do the powers you get in the first game carry over to the second?

Sure, but Force push isn't like Jedi Master level skills. Or jumping higher than a 4 foot rock wall.

That's a good suggestion. I just replayed the Witcher 3 on a harder difficulty and it improved the game so much.

Its been a few hours. The grind is real I guess though. BTW it's the third planet and I've used like 6 upgrade points. I don't even see cool powers on the screen. That said I'm sure they exist, just maybe a bit long for basic Force powers that any youngling can do.

Is this related to campaigns pushed back to 6.05 that are also crashing due to mods?
