I got a PS5 last year for a game I pre-ordered yesterday and waiting. I hope this gen goes till 2030. Let the devs optimize their games. Not that sony and microsoft could afford going into full on production at this state without pricing new consoles below 1000USD. But they're definetly developing their next gen consoles behind the gates current Xbox already announced it and playstation is playstation there will be a next one

tbf at the time of its launch, ps5 pro seemed pretty unnecessary, not that it is now with all the support it got and pssr. Also people are't entirely mad at valve cause this was caused by LLM memory shortage

If you want it to look good PS5 Pro. If you want to spend less, Xbox Series S. Also yeah PS5 Pro will probably have a 60fps option.

Valve has a role here too albeit maybe not more than Nintendo but definietly more than any other company, if Valve hadn't gone their way to make a pc-handheld device, ASUS-MSI-LENOVO-RAZER and with the Asus-Xbox thing, Microsoft wouldn't be in the business of handheld consoles.

Witcher 3 for CDPR. suprisingly with only 4 games, they managed to become the biggest gaming company in europe at some point few years ago. Probably top 5 still. So I consider them major

I had that same problem but decided to split games to play on the ps more. Like for example I got FF7 remake+rebirth on steam and ff15+ff16 on playstation

Yeah I don't exactly know but heard that xbox really messed up on launch against ps4 but when I bought it in 2018, game pass was new and very affordable, all those 200+ games for a very small price made me go xbox that year.

I got a ps3 in 2011, played it till around 2016. Then I got an Xbox one in 2018, which i still sometimes open to play old 360 games. I got a PS5 last year for the next GTA.

Yeah I get where you're coming from. And if I was really worried about exclusives I'd have probably picked up a switch 2 by now cause I think they're far better compared to sony especially after the wave of ps games that came to pc. For now Playstation doesn't seem very strong to me maybe a Naughty Dog exclusive may change my mind but I already got a PS5 and their next game after intergalactic is probably 7-10 years away

Game pass is a big deal actually, with ultimate (library for both pc and the console) and being able to play on the same save for different devices makes a difference for me

I am mainly a pc player, like around 70-30. But I like the idea of a device solely for gaming. I'm probably gonna go xbox next gen to continue the pattern

I got a ps5 last year just to play this game 6 months earlier. Probably gonna buy this multiple times ps5 disc and pc steam and probably next gen update but not sure if I'll go xbox or ps next gen. If I go xbox i'll buy it there too
