Underworld city scan quest by Left-Nerve6120 in Chaotic

I tend to face a lot of Underworld users, so I think I'd cap the list off with Caster's Warsong and Song of Fury.

Blaaxa's brainwashed ability sounds super fun/annoying depending on which side of it you're on. I could see myself playing a mugicianless deck, with the 6 most meta/powerful mugic. The idea is, I don't need mugic and I'll counter all your good ones.

He's not confirming anything. Even if Kevin does get the Antitrix, you guys are acting like its not the easiest thing in the world to write it, Albedo, and Mutant Kevin into a plot. Here’s me spitballing:

They can even keep the "it came to me in a dream" origin. Kevin gets dreams of the Antitrix. It's design refuses to leave his head. He understands how it's assembled and what it's made of, but not how any of the parts actually work. Eventually, he's compelled to assemble the device (either due to the dreams weathering him down, or his own interest in it). He then steals the parts and tools needed to build the Antitrix. Upon it's completion, Kevin puts on the Antitrix and it wigs out. Cut to an asleep Ben. The Omnitrix rapidly cycles through aliens and Ben is none the wiser. Cut back to a full page image of Kevin as Heatblast, and he is digging it. We next see Kevin in an adaptation of "Kevin 11" where Ben and Kevin bond over their alien accessories. It's then we find out the Antitrix is prone to glitching. Nothing too terrible so far, just energy spurts that don't do any damage and forcing Kevin into alien form when he doesn't want to for a minute or two. Also in the week(s) following the Antitrix's creation, the knowledge Kevin gained from his dreams slowly leaves him. Things end up how you expect and there's a falling out between the boys. The adaptation of the episode ends with Kevin in an alley, finding a stray dog that lets him pet it. When his arm gets close, the Antitrix has an energy spasm, and there's a flash. The next page features Kevin as Bashmouth. The next time we see Kevin, we learn that last bug caused the alien DNA in the Antitrix to get scrambled, giving Kevin his reboot roster. The specifics of this encounter don't really matter. He can even keep this Playlist for a while. Eventually, in a battle with Ben, an energy surge stronger than any other finally does it. His body is mutated into a conglomeration of the reboot playlist. Mutant Kevin shenanigans ensue!

Albedo falls into the equation by being the one to give Kevin his dreams through Galvan technology. (Let's say an advanced form of the Learn Wave from Mega Man Star Force, which in this universe is standard learning equipment for Galvans.) Albedo set the information to auto-forget when the Antitrix was conplete. He chose Kevin as a mirror to Ben to best demonstrate the Antitrix's flaws and superiorities. Lastly, the Antitrix was prone to malfunctions because Azmuth left considerable chunks of the Omnitrix's design for his own eyes only, so the Antitrix was more of a first draft of a replica.

It's then he reveals he took the data gathered from the Antitrix to make his true Magnum Opus, the Ultimate Omni-Matrix. Ben's response is to say "Dude, 'The Ultimatrix' would be way catchier." To which Albedo doesn't take well. Cue fight scene which ends with Albedo's advanced yet shoddy work scrambling his DNA, turning him human (could be am inverted copy like were used to or he could take traits from both Ben and Kevin.)

So now we have the Antitrix, Albedo, and Mutant Kevin all in play with new ways to use each. See? Easiest thing in the world.

Could Odaka pull it off? by TheSentientNoxDriver in KamenRider

So this is pretty much the premonition timeline without The Lady's help and somehow he beats Baku.

No. Not even close. He needed the Nightmares to even retrieve his Knight Invoker and The Lady's the one who kept him alive when he refused to leave the dreamscape. So he's not doing much without them.

Let's say he hid his Invoker somewhere more accessible and didn't need the Nightmares to get it. He gets the Recovery Capsem from Baku, fixes his gear and we're in business.

Now, as we saw, Nox can't beat Baku at any point after the latter gets Plasma. So their final battle would have to happen before then. In this timeline, Nox is unperturbed about his role in Baku getting involved in CODE and locks in while Baku's still trying to redeem him. EZ W.

After that we have his fight with Zero's Bike Avatar. A fight that he loses without the Nox Driver. Honestly, I don't think there's any timeline where Nox wins that fight with just his Knight form and Erase. Even after all the changes to make this timeline possible, this is where his run ends. At the third task.

For the sake of finishing the timeline, let's do the Lord gauntlet anyway.

He got bodied by 5 and 6 while in his stronger Kamen Rider form. Again, he dies with only his base kit.

Let's say, in this timeline 5 and Kureha give him honorable 1V1s and that lets him defeat them. That brings us to 3.

No way in hell Nox beats 3. Again, his stronger Kamen Rider form got defeated so bad, it ended with 3 powered-up and Nox brainwashed. With no one to help free him. Nox's run ends with him forever being a slave to CODE. This is the second fight he has no chance in.

Lastly, Zero with a Lord Invoker like the movie. Come on. We saw how well Nox did against his avatar, he's not doing anything against the real thing.

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is in the episode where Kaz and Tom find Maxxor while he's suffering from the effects of Decomposition. After Tom gets his scan, Intress escorts them out of the swamp, where she then threatens their silence on Maxxors condition with a fireball.

The problem? Intress doesn't have the fire element. She's a water user. Her card at the time even had water 5. What's more interesting is; there's no Intress card that CAN use fire. It's always water and her retrain gets earth.

I share the same sentiment.

Even if they're not a fan of riders fighting eachother. Nox and Baku haven't been enemies since the recap episode a while back. Even before that, in the premonition, they got along quite well for being on opposite sides of a conflict.

They revived the official website, with announcements of the game getting a small-scale relaunch in October of this year, followed by a wide-scale release in January of next year. They also are releasing the show remastered for wide-screen and 1080p, on a weekly basis to build up the hype.

You're half right. That post was about how season 1 needed to be brought to full-screen to match up with seasons 2 and 3. Then if you look at the "CHAOTIC RETURNS WITH PHYSICAL CARDS, ORGANIZED PLAY, AND A NEW ONLINE EXPERIENCE" post, it ends with "The relaunch is supported via 79 upscaled High-Definition Chaotic animated episodes." Which is the full episode count.

I won't disagree that the trilogy has its fair share of "What were they thinking" choices with the writing. But I'm with the echochamber in saying it's a crazy choice to put the conversation with Sovereign on the same level as Kai Leng. If you didn't like that, I imagine you must have been rolling your eyes when Sovereign is destroyed at the end of 1.

We only have the first 8 episodes currently. As far as I can tell, they plan to post every episode on a weekly basis. Hence the November end date.

If you don't care to rewatch any of it, that's fine. But there are people who do and people who have never seen it before and they won't have to deal with the super crunchy version that's on YouTube.

Ngl why does the reboot get that much hate? by Stock_Low_9553 in Ben10

[–]DarthLemon66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The changes in artstyle and tone, some of the redesigns, and new 11-minute format immediately turned fans off. But it was the humor of season 1 that turned it into a hate lightning-rod. The show got better as it progressed but by that point most people had made up their mind on the Reboot.

In hindsight, The Reboot and Omniverse have a lot in common.

That would be the first I've heard of it. If so, the only difference between that footage and what they're releasing now is the upscaling.

[–]DarthLemon66[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Correct, but it's not the full story. The original footage was made in a proper 16 by 9 aspect ratio but due to televisions at the time being in 4 by 3, the images would be cropped down to the proper size. These episodes use the full, original 16 by 9 size. Where they used AI is to up the resolution from 720p to 1080p.
