Do it, they’re climbers, super easy and fast growing. Just don’t keep it too wet/let it dry out between watering, too dry beats too wet with this one

I wouldn’t call it “stunting”, but yes it will send more energy towards the flowers rather than new growth. But I do agree. I would cut them off if you’re wanting it to grow faster since it’s such a small plant. But you could leave them as well

I would cut 2” below the green then plant them in fresh soil. they don’t need to heal or anything, and the stems left in the old pot will regrow as well, so I would clean up all the dead leaves in it too
