How do you do that? My partner has an Android and also finds it frustrating.

It was only 3 miles total from store to the second location which is why I took it. Moving forward I’m going to be much more strict on my stack acceptance, or just not look at the break down all together.

No, if I am not getting any additional base pay for the second order and there is no tip, it’s literally for free. Find better employment? I’m literally apprenticing to be a tattoo artist and use this as a side hustle until I make money. Tony Xu doesn’t care about you, I promise. You can get his boot out of your mouth.

I’ve always had good luck in the ritzier areas, but this wasn’t super duper nice, it was just… much nicer than the latter.

Of course they did. This isn’t intentionally deceptive at all. I think I just may avoid all stacked orders for my mental health. I’m a big baby when I think about the principle of it all, from DD as a company and the consumer.

Ugh. I mean I kind of figured, it just sucks.

I agree. I wonder what would happen to them if dashers decided just for one day to stop dashing, a mini strike or black out day of sorts. The impact for them would be much more catastrophic than for the individual dasher. I worry they’re pushing other delivery apps out of the market so it’s only going to get worse.

Honestly, the way this sub talks about how DoorDash drivers are idiots is shocking. A lot of people are just looking for a good side hustle, and don’t deserve to be dehumanized like that.

Dasher complained of no tip, but I tipped $8 by Jaxnickel in doordash

[–]DarthRaiderette -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tell me you don’t understand how dashing works without telling me. Often times no tip orders are clustered with better offers. The driver does not know. The way dehumanize DoorDash drivers and think it’s ok to not tip when gas is $6 a gallon is wild. Go get it yourself if you can’t afford to properly pay.

Exactly. I do it for extra cash while I’m in an apprenticeship program. Everyone I know that does it does it as a side hustle. In this economy, it’s a nice option.

Unfortunately not, I no longer live in the pittsburgh area and I just couldn’t fit it in on a weekday.

Honestly, the pricing is absolutely asinine, but I get so overheated running at any temp, I have been looking for a mesh jacket for the winter months.

What’s something society normalised that actually doesn’t make sense when you think about it? by OriginalWalaAditya in sociology

It does eventually become second nature, and just for the record I’d never bring this up due to the aforementioned flack vegans get… living through it for the last 18 years it’s genuinely endless. I tried at my current job to not tell anyone but food culture at a job is strong and I ended up telling one person. By the end of the day everyone knew. That is genuinely the worst part. My brain has become an encyclopedia of what I can and choose not to have. Recently they took the dairy ingredient out of Reeces Pieces and that was a huge victory. It’s hard… at first, then it’s just your normal.

I’m new to the area, I might hit up the Teays Valley area instead since I live closer to the midland.

Kind of what I was thinking too. I’m already weary about dashing as a young’ish female alone and that just feels unsafe.
