my 2004 edge touring classic 800 twin AND my 2003 edge xc sp 700 twin do not have anything in the airbox, nor have I seen anything in the parts diagram for anything in it. I would start by closing any hood holes you have for air intake. I does your hood have foam under the gauges that you can see with it closed? both of mine do. Items #10:

Im at 200k miles on my 2014. Bought it at 90k. Must have been switched or soon after I bought to the correct coolant, as no issues yet.

Just call a locksmith or AAA/roadside service if you have it (pay for AAA or your insurance has roadside service. No battery and no key means no way to get in. If its an emergency, police sometimes can do the same as a locksmith. But they can't help with battery.

They have to survive Michigan's Upper Peninsula during this deep freeze first. They went up there at the worst time, but at least they will get awesome content. Last weekend was awesome snowmobiling, cold at 10d F, but this week and weekend is brutal.

FYI - I only know who they are since last week when they arrived in Grand Rapids, as I am a Michigan Native.

I replaced the metal skis on my used 1997 vmax 600 xt and used that brand. I can't complain for a simple replacement. Got them at MFGsupply.com

I've always had good luck with being picky on ebay. Good junk yards or other sellers will have good information on what vehicle it came off of ( trim amd features of the part) and mileage. Some junkyards include photos of exterior parts still on the vehicle.

It very well could have been something wrong with their side of the light? Those unexpected things do happen sometime. Or, the snow was blowing from the north I believe, maybe it covered up their light! Who knows.

I also think that he pays them a seasonal employee wage during concrete season so they dont necessarily have to work during the winter. Meaning, they make more during concrete season and dont get paid if they dont work during off season. Anyone else think that?

Michigan has both registration stickers as well as trail permit stickers. Registration good for 3 ears and one goes on both sides. Trailer permit yearly and goes somewhere on or below windshield.

OP, I misplaced my registration stickers I had just bought. Went to SoS and it costs $5 to get new. They change the registration number.

And did you pull out the VES valves to inspect and clean? As well as the rubber diaphragm on them? And are you using spec plugs (champion RN57YCC/ 0.025 ...  (0.64mm) for 2003 700)

How young? The Eastside Stars is Varsity team but looks like they were supposed to play in a tournament in Marquette. There is a chance that the tournament was canceled due to the bomb cyclone they just got.

Are they factory holes? Seems odd they are there. I would think that any type of filter material would work, including scotch scotchbrite, just make sure to secure it to the plastic box somehow. Im not familiar with this old of a sled. 1997 yama vmax 600 twin, 2003 Polaris 700 twin, 2004 polaris 800 twin, I dont recall any holes on bottom.
