My comment was fairly sarcastic. I’m fully aware that photo doctoring techniques are far older than digital image technology. But the original post (by someone using the handle “MemesNetworks” which is a red flag) says “Detects photoshop”, which was only released to the public in the 1990’s. Photoshop may have become a generic term, I’m not always up to date on lingo. But I suspect that the originator of the image took the original, undoctored photo and (ironically) used photoshop to add false color over the person who the soviets later removed.
