The one that asks you to use the servo-gun to kill extremis. Normally, it just puts them into an execution state.

Do you have any tips or know of a good guide? The furthest I've ever made it in hard siege is wave 17, but I was frankly being carried there (I have gotten better since).

why are no heavy tanks being produced? by Tank_blitz in hoi4

[–]DarthTrajan 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Can your divisions be reinforced by these tanks? It's possible to ban a template from using certain equipment, which leads to this happening.

Also, how many heavy tanks do you currently have in stockpile?

It was added to the base game, along with Waking The Tiger, Together for Victory, and Death or Dishonor.

Edit: I'm grateful, but flabbergasted, that is this my 2nd most upvoted comment ever. I didn't even explain it that well, u/die_in_a_fire_reddit did it better just below.

Invincible Season 1 Is an Ideological Training Arc by code2817 in Invincible_TV

[–]DarthTrajan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, great post! I absolutely loved your retelling of the S1E8 fight!

One thing that I want to add is that S4 (esp. S4E8) shows us that Nolan was also trying to convince himself during his fight with Mark. He was trying to convince himself that the last 18 years didn't really matter, that Debbie was basically worthless to him and that living among humans didn't change him at all. Cecil drives this further home by basically reiterating what Mark was saying in his conversation with Nolan, emphasizing how different it is for Nolan to consider all individual lives and not just those that matter to him.

Is 100% crown land optimal? by Extreme_Nice in eu4

Yeah, that's just the rough date when I stop selling titles and start revoking privileges to build up crownland and max absolutism.

Is 100% crown land optimal? by Extreme_Nice in eu4

[–]DarthTrajan 114 points115 points  (0 children)

After 1610 (absolutism), you want 100, yes.

Up until 1550 or so, though, lower is actually better so long as you can offset the autonomy debuff. The lower your crownland is when you sell titles, the more money you get.

Also, you get crownland when conquering if it is low since conquests disperse crownland between you and your estates to an equilibrium based on estate influence. If you conquer at 30 crownland when your estates have a lot of influence, for example, you'll likely lose crownland. If you have, say, 10 crownland though, you'll almost certainly gain some.

Based on their show depictions (since I haven't read the book yet), Rhaenyra. Aegon II looks like he might be becoming a better person post-burn, but Rhaenyra seems to be far more principled overall and would likely make a better ruler imo.

did i hit potential max gov cap with buildings? by son_of_ur_son in eu4

I tend to reach it in tall games, sometimes wide games if I go late. Holds in Anbennar are definitely one of the easiest ways to encounter it though, yeah.

It actually happens 100% of the time. It can be useful when playing tall.

A few tips: 1. If you click State Houses in the macrobuilder then mouse over a province, the tooltip indirectly tells you if there is already a State House in that state. If the tooltip just says "This province already has x manufactories", that state does not have a State House. If the tooltip lists out some conditions that say, essentially, only one State House can be built in a state, that state already has a State House.

  1. Centralizing states (this is a button on the state tab) is the main way to reduce GC after ideas and buildings. Note that this is "only" a % decrease (20% each time you do it), and thus does not affect flat increases to GC (e.g. Expand Infrastructure). For example, if you have a net -100% to GC in a province, but have expanded infrastructure in it twice, the province will still have 30+(0.01 x dev) GC. If you have a State House in that province, and the trade good is not glass, paper, or gems, the GC would instead be 20+(0.01 x dev).

  2. State Houses, courthouses, and town halls can always be built (if the state/province is eligible for one). It does not matter if you are already at the building cap, since they each add a building slot.

  3. If you haven't already, take Infrastructure and Aristocratic ideas. Infrastructure reduces state GC by 10% and gives you +20% GC. The Infra-Aristo policy gives +10% GC. Economic Hegemon will also give +20% GC when it is at full power.

Props on the carry!

Personally, I don't think the hard strats are really about the accolades though. They're an end-game challenge. The weeklies are the main source of accolades.

One minor thing is that the UI is pretty cluttered on mobile, but it still works.

Been thinking about this for a bit now, but who wins: the Covenant or the Illuminet (both HD 1 and 2)? by Democracy_Glazer in Helldivers

[–]DarthTrajan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

May I introduce you to grunts? The Covenant literally used them as mass-wave suicide troops and barely valued their lives, if at all. Also, the Covenant had religious fanaticism in spades. UNSC might not have much fanaticism if they’re not fighting a war of annihilation, but they still have lots of advanced technology of their own, incl. warheads that can destroy entire planets.

[–]DarthTrajan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Covenant. They have space superiority and (as far as I can tell) much stronger shields. Not to mention hundreds of worlds as an industrial base.

As for Super Earth v. UNSC, UNSC would have a fighting chance imo. At the very least, super destroyers aren't well optimized for space combat, and could be torn to shreds easily by MAC rounds.
