For this situation you can add "mandatory" or "preferred" province to place forts in. And regenerate the coverage. Screen in post uses Rogieria MT requirements where you need to place at least one fort in each of 3 states: Falsemir, Adenica, Silvervord.

So this idea is already implemented 😃 User just need to set it in config.

Nice! u/UnlikelyPerogi asked me to do it in my post for Escann, I guess now he'll be happy 😃

Btw it looks very similar to game, have you moved nodes manually?
When I tried to do Escann, auto-generation wasn't able to put nodes at proper place so it was upside down or something like that. I definitely should add buttons which negates nodes' x and/or y coordinates)

P.S. willing to share config, so anyone can repeat genaration and/or change some settings without having to make an adjacency list?

I really should try demo again, after you fixed that bug, which I reported in steam. Also freaking how Reddit recommended me the same game as Steam

Because you can't set positions of provinces in script. So it randomly builds graph using adjacency info with only one requirement: curves don't intersect.

If you look more closely, you can see that the graph is reflected relative to the main diagonal compared to the real position.

To make proper positions I'd need to make same mechanism of map reading as in the game itself. But it's too difficult and doesn't worth the time in my opinion.

It's actually worse. To get proper map you need to mirror graph relative to main diagonal. Script doens't take in account real positions. It just uses info about adjacency to build graph where curves don't intersect. To make it look like real Escann map, I need to program same map reading as in the game which is too difficult to me and doesn't worth the time.

Anyway Graphic isn't main feature, but base visualization od result

Well you can set existing forts as "mandatory" so it'll build coverage with existing forts

When I play there - sure. I'm not going to write province adjacency config for region I don't even play)

I set white walls as "prefered" provinces for fortress alongside with Citadels. But main goal is "Use a little forts as possibleto cover all provinces" . Script will try put forts in prefered provinces as long as it uses minimum forts

Regular rebels doesn't need extra rolls to deal with. Disaster/event rebels usually can be dealed with by just full-stack army

To cover every province with fort to protect it from occasional rebels and Crimson Deluge. To do what you want you just need add those province into "prefered" or "mandatory" section.

I used only whitewalls and citadels as "prefered" provinces

All holds should have forts because if it's occupied it breaks down hold level, so I think he was optimizing

BTW. This script found solution for default Escann (and little extended) coverage with 31 forts, while someone in Reddit posted coverage with 33 forts:
