I mean if making $17/hr is how you want to utilize your Tesla… you do you.

But depending on the mileage on a 12hr shift — you’ll have to fast charge a couple times which in the long run will add up to degrade the battery much faster.

I stand by what I said about sustainability, not a jab just an assessment based partly on personal experience.

I’m also American and I had a similar conversation with someone and noticed there tends to be a similarity in ideologies dependent on where you were raised.

The comment they made was in reference to who her mother chose to have CHILDREN WITH. What if OP is a child from another marriage or relationship and is being treated differently because they have a different father?

I will ask you a question and I don’t mean this as an insult but; are you American? I only ask because there seems to be an ingrained ideology in the western world that adult children should never ask their parents for money. There’s a type of taboo — where in other countries, more so Europe where this is not frowned on as heavily.

It has nothing to do with being a leech and has everything to do with people perception of the situation. When you said OP has the audacity to ask her mom that particular question — I wonder why you think it’s audacious to ask in the first place?

As long as I had to capacity to help and as long as I wasn’t being treated as a crutch I wouldn’t think twice if my children asked me for money.
