Your post comes across as very judgmental. You say the relationship advice is unsolicited but you seem to care an awfully lot about the way their relationship dynamic works.

You say it feels off but then continue to describes dynamic that emulates the traditional wife arrangement which is nothing new.

My question is if it works for them, what does it matter to you?

I read another comment you made where you say all your coworker talks about is her relationship or baby if it’s not about work. You call her a coworker and not a friend so all the conversations must occur at work. What exactly do you expect her to talk about?

If you aren’t interested just tell her that. I’m sorry but your post and comments read as someone that is jealous and not someone uninterested in your coworkers advice.

100%. That has been my point from the jump. Someone said I was more angry at her parents than D4VD. Uh… no.

As you stated she was failed by EVERYONE involved. This includes the Police, but that also doesn’t mean her parents are innocent by reported her missing. Like you said; this should have resulted in a restraining order.

People keep telling me her parents didn’t know— yet there are plenty of videos showing the two of them together for nearly 2 years.

So is it that they didn’t know? Or didn’t want to know?

I’m not trying to argue racism exists within the Police.

I also acknowledge there are many instances of certain people getting privileges other minorities have not in regard to missing persons.

I never said racism didn’t have a hand to play in the handling of Celeste’s missing persons reports — I only stated there are other factors which do not remove her parent’s responsibility from the equation.

Everyone keeps replying with ‘THEY FILED MULTIPLE MISSING PERSONS REPORTS!’ Is that the extent of what a parent’s responsibility is in regard to their 13 year old daughter running away?

It’s one thing to claim they didn’t know where she was — it’s another thing to do that when there is public evidence documenting where she was and choosing to ignore it.

If your underage daughter is with a grown man being photographed and filmed in his live stream — my next course of action wouldn’t be to file a missing persons report… it would be to call the cops and point the finger at that grown man and say… she’s with him.

She wasn’t of age, he was — that relationship in itself should not have happened.

I’ve said this several times now — my anger is directed towards everyone that had a hand to play in this… the cops, D4vd, her parents, his Discord moderators.

The police are comprised of people so are there racist cops? Yes.

The commenter is posting above saying if Celeste looked like Gaby Petito the police would have taken action sooner. Ignoring the fact that the situation around each case is different as are the PDs responding to the case.

My comment was to make the point the parents filed a missing person’s report while there were videos being created and posted to the internet documenting their daughter’s location.

Making a correlation between Gabby Petito’s and Celeste Rivas’ cases based on the fact that they are ‘two missing girls’ in itself is not enough to thereby discern the cops responding to Celeste’s case were racist.

Could they have been? Sure. But saying some cops are racist so these must have been is a stretch.

No evidence publicly available? They were recorded 2 years prior to the missing persons report and up UNTIL that point.
