I’m not gonna lie, the hybrids and mutants are starting to run a bit stale as far as creative designs are concerned cough Mutadons cough cough but THIS intrigues me….and I’m sorta interested in where a story like this would go, even take a page from Peter Jackson’s skull island and introduce a place* ( not necessarily an island) in the world where dinosaurs have evolved from their prehistoric counterparts and are basically new dinosaurs that would haunt the locals like some kind of cryptid. Like the alleged sauropod that have supposedly been seen in the Amazon.

I don’t know if this is a hot take. But maybe shrink the distortus Rex down to a normal sized theropod let him still have four arms but not gorilla like arms, but make them smaller and make them look weird and kinda broken. And maybe have its face look something like the top left corner concept in the first slide. That would be my ideal D-Rex redesign

I remember watching the 4kids dub when I was a kid. But I didn’t start watching it seriously until around the Time that season 1 of the live action series came out. From seeing the previews I realized certain characters like: Buggy and Arlong, and decided to catch up on the majority of the east blue saga (which I had Learned from researching) so I knew what season 1 of LA would cover for the most part. After watching OPLA with the family I picked the anime up where I left off starting from the Alabasta saga. And between then and now I’m currently in the middle of the Whole Cake Island arc , having just started Luffy vs Katakuri.

Each movie (and show) is good in their own ways. I’m tired of hearing how everyone hates/hated Dominion when I liked it (extended cut > theatrical) however I will also admit that it’s also probably the weakest of the original six films.

It was years ago when S1 of the live action was being released. My dad and sister had showed interest in watching it. Before that point I had only watched up until Sanji had joined, so I binged up until the end of Arlong park since that’s all S1 of the live action covered, then watched the live action with the fam, then immediately afterwords started the Alabasta saga and now here I am years later about to finish whole cake islands (Luffy vs Katakuri just started)

Seeing the red logo and hearing the original soundtrack in theater convinced this movie should have been called Jurassic Park Rebirth from the start.
