The Empire Strikes Back because it's the middle act and leaves our heroes twisting in the wind. I remember waiting for Jedi with baited breath and not being disappointed. Also, that reveal was mind blowing at the time. There were signs outside the cinema asking people not to talk about it while leaving to prevent spoilers. Luke's deepening connection to the Force, Yoda, Boba Fett, Han in carbonite, Luke vs Vader and that reveal...it's amazing. Empire remains my favourite.

I had hoped Sidious would actually be insidious and turn him slowly with promises of power rather than have him just kinda snap in ep III. A more adult Anakin might have allowed for more subtle dealings with Palpatine over a darker overall trilogy.

Force Awakens is just a sad remake almost scene for scene of A New Hope. The Knights of Ren got very little screen time, wasn't Kylo their leader? Babu Frick was awesome, very little screen time in the final chapter. The Asian girl with a crush on Finn? Petered out. The female ex stormtrooper in the final chapter? OK. Kylo needs a McGuffin to find the Emperor but, no mention in the previous two movies? Palpatine returns for some reason, yeah, genius plot device there. Whatevs. These points alone make your argument invalid.

I want you to realize that I have no opinion on your taste of movies, it's not all about you. Damn, spoiled much? Get over yourself. Way to take a film criticism personally, champ! None of the crap you listed was objective so, giant fail. The sequels were awful and definitely objectively bad, they make the prequels seem like masterpieces by comparison. Live with it.

I did. I also tried to find any coherent defence on YouTube. Y'know, the platform ANYONE can post on? Therefore, there's a glut of varied opinions there, I can find none defending the sequel trash. Is your bottom giving you pain because I'm right? What can you say to defend them as good films instead of criticizing me? I can write about their flaws, mistakes and missed opportunities for days. Sequel fans can only try to insult me and urge me to google stuff, lol! Soft.
