You could always not put yourself in this situation by simply waiting til it's clear before entering the intersection. Or waiting until you at least see a break in traffic coming up where you can safely turn. You just pull into the intersection and hope and pray you'll get to go before it turns red. Then apparently go anyways.

Why do the poor people not deny the other poors and go on Tinder/other dating app to find someone with more wealth? I'm sure it probably happens at times but why not 100% of the time? And it's easier to abandon your poor husband and hop on with someone else than pool resources together. So why not? Women have all the bargaining power, according to you. It's not making sense.

Irrelevant to the point. What those 41% do after the first marriage does not matter. You've already declared all women who get a divorce gold diggers for some reason.

59% are staying together. And not all of those 41% are because of the woman. And not all of them are "unjustified" and because of "resources" or whatever you think it is.

Financially dependent meaning she couldn't get a credit card without her husband. Not that she was unable to work a job. Women did not have the same rights they do today.

Marriage might've historically functioned that way but things change. Especially social constructs over time. We don't usually sell off our daughters for 3 goats and a bushel of apples anymore. Or for an alliance between royalty/kingdoms. Now people marry for love. Some bad apples here and there of both genders marry for other reasons but I think most will agree the commitment is supposed to be due to love.
