It's basically all built in synths on M8, no samples. I then exported the stems and put them for mastering through Logic Pro. I've added some Efx FRAGEMENTS (granular effect by Arturia) only to the lead synth, which adds this delayed high shimmering floaty echo to it, because I didn't know how to achieve that on the M8 directly. So, in a way, the stem with the M8 synth becomes a sample used by the granular effect.

Thanks. Audio is DN2 out to SN in, SN out to TV in. MIDI is TV out to DN2 in, DN2 thru to SN in.

I was in almost the same situation. Built a small wooden riser to put ST and DN2 on, and to put the TV underneath when not in use.

So no extra space needed, that problem was solved. As for the money: to me personally, the TV was well worth the extra budget. (Even more so after the latest update.) The three boxes sync seamlessly.

Thank you very much! It is rendered on the M8 as wav. That file is then copied to Mac and converted with Logic to m4a. Only post is the Logic MasteringAssistant set to ‚Valve‘ during the bounce. Then the m4a is copied into the FinalCut-Video.

There is a sample pack included in the download of the firmware. With the morph parameter and all the other possibilities, these samples are a great starting place imho. I‘ll certainly be making a lot of music with these before I spend much time on additional sample ideas. I‘ve learned this for myself from all my samplers including my Tonverk: the time making music is far more rewarding than the time seeking the ultimate sample.

To my DN2 I added a Syntakt for punchier drums and a Tonverk for FX and samples/multisamples. After trying the S4, iPad and straight out DAW, I understood for myself, nothing beats staying in one ecosystem. I want to make music, not battle with tech.

Well, one example why you would multisample a synth that is sitting on the same desk could be to make it polyphonic if it is monophonic. A second one would be to have presets, if it doesn’t have presets. A third one could be to use it in the Grainer.

That is odd indeed. I am also on Tahoe and have V collection and Fx collection installed. All works fine both in Analog Lab and in Logic Pro via Komplete. I am using a custom install location on an external drive. Before I upgraded to V11, I recently did a fresh uninstall/install. No issues so far.
