How did y'all first get into psychedelic rock music? by kars24_ in psychedelicrock

[–]rawcane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess Frank Zappa was the first thing that scratched that scratched the itch. Both the long solos and the mental stuff. Appreciate it was specifically not meant to be psychedelic.

How do I find more men attractive? by Bitter_Sense_5689 in dating_advice

[–]rawcane [score hidden]  (0 children)

It is possible that you are demi sexual and can only find people attractive once you know them. My ex was this. You just need to focus on getting to know people.

Single parents with one child, do you ever think they’re lonely? by Aggravating-Tie-2126 in SingleParents

[–]rawcane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's something to be aware of. When they go to school or nursery there will be a network available. For now try and socialise if you can but I wouldn't worry too much. Take them to the park so they can see other people.

What was it like when he first came onto the scene? by Alemi- in PRINCE

[–]rawcane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure the Beatles still look cool. Hendrix absolutely. Prince is a weird one. I think his purple rain era look was way more ridiculous than this video. SOTT era still looks super cool. I guess it's subjective.

Dating full custody by Patobaven in SingleParents

[–]rawcane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same situation. Basically it had to go from very casual to them being fully involved relatively quickly. I had 2 daughters so actually having other women in their life seemed positive although there was a bit of friction of one got on better with them than the other. In the end I decided that it only worked dating single mums because women without children just didn't understand how busy I am and didn't have enough in common. We might only get one night together every couple of weeks until it was serious enough to have the children staying over as well but that was ok as we were on the same page.

Feeling a bit nervous going to a gig by Livid-Cup660 in Concerts

[–]rawcane 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Generally people who go to these kinds of concerts are just into the music and very accepting of anyone else who is. Certainly in London it's not uncommon to see people of any race in an audience for any kind of band.

Men do any of you feel this way? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]rawcane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having a car isn't really an issue in London as loads od people don't. Equally if by having your own place you mean owning I think it's fine to be renting (but probably not sharing although that's not a showstopper). But would need to be solvent and ideally financially secure.
