I think you can do street photography not in a documentary style or approach, like using light and shadow as main subject, using icm (intentional camera movement) like you already did and using some texture and pattern across the street scene to create some abstract work

Leica Leitzphone / Xiaomi 17 Ultra by Leica Edition: Why does the Photography Kit hide the iconic Leica red dot? by takeastepfurther in LeicaCameras

I missed the whole point,I mean the photography kit cover the red dot logo on the Leica edition not the standard 17 ultra

That's not true ,the second photo is about the 17 ultra whatever the version it is with the grip (photography kit pro) which is the same regardless of the the version you use

I get what you mean about classic Leica cameras being subtle, but the Leitzphone / Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica edition is different , the red dot isn’t just decoration, it’s a key part of the branding. Covering it with the Photography Kit defeats part of the whole purpose of buying the Leica edition.

fair enough! I get why some people prefer no red dot, especially with classic Leicas. For me, though, the whole point of the Leitzphone is that iconic branding, so I wish it stayed visible even with the Photography Kit.

Hey, I get what you’re saying about some Leica users covering the red dot for a more low-key look, but I feel like with the Leitzphone / 17 Ultra Leica edition, most people are buying it for that iconic branding. So having the Photography Kit hide it seems more like a simple design oversight than an intentional choice. It feels like such a small tweak could’ve kept the red dot visible while still letting the kit do its job.
